I have been battling this stupid Celiac disease on my own for the last 8 months with limited success. I have fallen off the Gluten Free wagon and have completely made myself miserable. Now it seems everything I touch makes me sick. I am looking for a nutritionist who specialized in Celiac disease in the Southern California area to help me get on a diet plan to restore my health and put some weight back on. My doctor is of little help offering me the scholarly advice of

Are you familar with the Celiac Disease Foundation? If you are, and a member, you can call them and get referals from them. They had a few at the convention earlier this month. They seemed to know what they were talking about and she knew that sometimes a lot more tha gluten needs to be cut out of our diets. I'm sorry I don't remember her name.

Hi Mindy,

I hope you found a dietitian/nutritionist that specializes in celiac disease. If not, feel free to contact me as I specialize in celiac disese (my son was diagnosed with celiac disease 10 years ago, so I have both a personal and professional interest).

Thank you that’s really helpful, hopeful won’t have to have a biopsy.

That means the normal range (i.e. not celiac disease) would be a result less than 14.99.  Your result is WAY above that. Some gastroenterologists would diagnose that as celiac disease even without a confirming biopsy because it is more than ten times the top of the normal range.

Hi everyone. Back in 2022 I had blood work drawn for iga ext gliadin. Since then I’ve developed worse stomach issues and all other health issues. My doctor just said cut out gluten. He did no further testing. Please see my test results attached. I just need some direction cause I feel so ill and the stomach pain is becoming worse. Can this test show indications for other gastrointestinal diseases?

Thank you. These were the results TTG ABS NUMERICAL: > 250.0 U/mL [< 14.99]  Really don’t understand the results!

Clearly from what you've said the info on Dailymed is much more up to date than the other site, which hasn't been updated since 2017. The fact that some companies might be repackaging drugs does not mean the info on the ingredients is not correct.
