Is there anybody who can give me feedback on these results from Enterolab.

Is this enough reason to eliminate gluten and totally change his diet.

What is the current thought on the accuracy of Enterolab. Any feedback would be helpful

Thanks!

These results definitely justify eliminating all gluten and dairy (not just lactose) from his diet. If you don't, you will end up with a very ill child eventually. Obviously, he must be having symptoms, otherwise why would you have had him tested? How old is he?

He just turned seven. We had him tested dueto behavioral (ADHD type ) and excessive mucus/congestion.

He does not have any digestive problems we are aware of.

Would you suggest any other tests before we change his diet?

Those were positive tests. It appears from your description of his problems that he is primarily effected neurologically and often it can be years before those of us who are predominantly neuro effected to have obvious GI distress. During that time the damage to the nervous system and brain continue. Many of us will experience crippling depression and anxiety by the time we reach adolesence and the hormones kick in to complicate things further. At this time many of these kids get put on psychotropic drugs which can have horrible and even deadly side effects. I almost lost both of my children to these types of meds when the gluten-free diet was what was really needed. The brain fog can also make learning difficult and interfer with interpersonal communication resulting in conditions that are very like some in the autism spectrum. I would get him on the diet. I would be willing to bet that you are seeing a different kid within a couple of months.

Thank you that’s really helpful, hopeful won’t have to have a biopsy.

That means the normal range (i.e. not celiac disease) would be a result less than 14.99.  Your result is WAY above that. Some gastroenterologists would diagnose that as celiac disease even without a confirming biopsy because it is more than ten times the top of the normal range.

Hi everyone. Back in 2022 I had blood work drawn for iga ext gliadin. Since then I’ve developed worse stomach issues and all other health issues. My doctor just said cut out gluten. He did no further testing. Please see my test results attached. I just need some direction cause I feel so ill and the stomach pain is becoming worse. Can this test show indications for other gastrointestinal diseases?

Thank you. These were the results TTG ABS NUMERICAL: > 250.0 U/mL [< 14.99]  Really don’t understand the results!

Clearly from what you've said the info on Dailymed is much more up to date than the other site, which hasn't been updated since 2017. The fact that some companies might be repackaging drugs does not mean the info on the ingredients is not correct.
