i am new to this forum but i appreciate all that i have learned from it. i was diagnosed by my doctor 6 months ago after having been to 7 other docs/specialists. i am a woodworker and i understand that the manufacturers of plywoods use wheat as a filler/base for their adhesives for the plys. has anyone had a problem with the dust from the machining?

Damn! Is that right?

I imagine using a good mask and then clean up. And use vinyl rather than latex gloves due to gluten in the powder they often put in the latex gloves.

But wow. No wonder I have been having problems at work, between that and Fix All, pre mixed plaster and I hear sheetrock.

Where will it end?

Yes. I use a respirator that will filter out small particulate matter and gloves. A regular dust mask may not be enough so looking like a bug is a safer alternative. Make certain that it seals well aroung your nose and mouth. If you have a small face, like I do, you may need to order one to get one in a small enough size. Be sure to get some extra filters also when you purchase. It will be hot and sweaty to wear, at least I found it so. I also make sure that I remove clothing and wash it without mixing in with my regular laundry.

From their website I see "organic barley leaf powder" as an ingredient. Keep in mind that the gluten is in the kernel, and not in the leaves. https://drinkag1.com/about-ag1/ingredients/ctr

Before the rise of social media we were well known by a lot of doctors and were recommended by many, especially our Safe & Forbidden Lists, but as doctors get younger and younger this is probably not happening as much as before.

Thanks Scott I will definitely check my vitamins and minerals to see what I am missing so then I can supplement. I was very concern about my Meniers syntoms and i tryed to find some alive. Now im just realizing that my celiac is provably the root cause of my Meniers none of the 12 doctors I saw told me anything about this.  This web site is so helpful, thanks to people like you we can get answers.

Vitamin D deficiency can contribute to rib pain. Chest pain stemming from the ribs ccould be costochondritis, which involves inflammation of the cartilage connecting the ribs to the breastbone. This pain can range from mild to severe, potentially mimicking heart attack symptoms, and is often worsened by breathing or movement. Other potential causes include muscle strain, rib fractures, or even referred pain from other conditions.  It will also help to chose vegetables low in omega 6.
