Chronic C Sufferers: Have You Tried Tactical Fibering?

When I finish this Neem, if I still have problems I'm going to try this.

For as long as I can I'm going to study my habits greatly. See if there is a pattern. Maybe it's every two days, I don't know. I never really focused on it as much as I cursed how bloated and uncomfortable I was.

If I can find some pattern, I'll try taking fiber close to the end of the "cycle". Like lets say nothing usually happens on day one. I will have little to no fiber then. If it ends up happening on day three, I'll also have little fiber on day two except near the end of the day. Then a normal amount of fiber on day three.

That way I might be able to avoid bulk, and the horrible water retention that follows when intestines fight for their dear lives to make you comfortable.

Then again it's just a quickly-formed theory. Maybe that would make it worse, or there might be no pattern at all, or etc..

What is a Neem?

(Sorry I'm new here so don't know that term/name)

But yes..if badly gluten poisoned I do this..it cuts down drstically on healing time for me.

In fact the first day or so I only have liquids.

I'm rarely hungry after an attack anyway..my tummy just 'sounds' like it's hungry with all the grumbling noises it makes!

I know you're asking about fiber but I have found dairy products give me horrible C. It's funny because gluten gave me D but the dairy I was eating over rode that and I often ended up with C or C sometimes and D others.

      @N00dnutt, been there, done that! Cheers!

      @trents You're right, thanks for pointing that out. On @somethinglikeolivia comment regarding potential ingesting or cross contamination; there is a product marketed in Australia as "GluteGuard" which is designed for just this scenario. It is not a defence for and is not recommended for use by full-blown celiac disease but, it helps those with GI. I'll be reading slower in future so I don't skim over the subject matter. Cheers.

      @Knitty_Kitty Noted with appreciation.

      @N00dnutt, as OP explained earlier, she had a gastroscopy done earlier while she had been eating plenty of gluten for months. It was negative despite strong positive antibody scores.

      The best way to determine positively is to undergo a Gastroscope. Your Endocrinologist will assess the condition of your "Villi". These tenticles are what extract the nutrient from what we ingest. The Protein in Gluten is like acid to these tenticles.
