You might think, logically, that it isn't the best idea. I believe malabsorption is a side effect of gastric bypass, and malabsorption is a hall mark of celiac disease.

I have an uncle who has been interested in the claims that gastric bypass can cure type 2 diabetes..that some cases of Type 2 originate in the gut. My family has some Type 1 diabetes, but lots and lots of Type 2. The gut connection made me wonder about Celiac, too, but I haven't seen anything in print about the effects of GB on Celiac...

Are you trying to figure out if GB could cause Celiac, worsen it, improve it...or cure it? Or something else.

I had a gastric bypass 7 years ago and have been self diagnosed with celiac disease by diet, my local doctors are a waste of time. If you have a specific question I would love to help you.

The Lindt (Lindor) dairy-free oat milk truffles are definitely gluten-free, and (last time I checked) so are the white chocolate truffles and the mint chocolate truffles.

I've used magnesium taurinate and magnesium taurate vitamins.  Didn't notice much of a difference when I used them.

More great tips, and a good excuse to shop at M&S and also buy more iced buns!   I wish we had an ASDA near us, as the few times we've been to one their gluten-free pasta range seemed very reasonably priced compared to other shops.  Thanks so much, @Russ H.
