QUESTION 1:

I am thinking about cutting out dairy for a little while.

I get Pacific Almond Milk for my breakfast. But I am using Fat Free Milk for my cooking/baking.

I tried to use the Vanilla Almond Milk with a bread mix one time and it turned out strange so I don't cook/bake with it anymore (weird texture compared to previous loaves).

Maybe it was a whatever thing that happened or the Vanilla Flavor didn't go well with the recipe.

Has anyone else had this problem?

QUESTION 2:

Does anyone who does not eat/drink dairy make Lasagna?

What do you use in place of cheese?

Thank you very much for any information :)

There is a lasagna thread with some great sounding ideas from I think August or September(google it). The first time I did it w/o dairy I used mashed potatoes. I made enchiladas the other day with mashed sweet potatoes and it should work for the lasagna too. I bought some "Follow Your Heart Cheese" and put a couple of strips on my dd's enchiladas. It was orange and so pretty on top. I have yet to try it on other things (I am using it sparingly).

If you mean the ricotta....there are all sorts of subs. If you can have soy, just Google "Vegan Ricotta".

WOW I never thought of using Mash Potatoes with either one.... Do you make your own or do the mash out of a box/bag??? So the layer you would normally do cheese you just slap on the mash potatoe? I LOVE potatoes so I will have to try this sometime soon =) Thanks :D

BTW, we've done other articles on this topic that I wanted to share here (not to condone smoking!):

Hi everyone  This has been a crazy year so far... How many people actually get entire sensory overload from gluten or something similar ?  My jaw is going nuts ..and that nerve is affecting my upper back and so on ...  Bones even hurt.  Brain fog. Etc  I had eggs seemed fine.   Then my aid cooked a chicken stir fry in the microwave because my food order shorted a couple key items .   I was so hungry but I noticed light breading and some ingredients with SOY !!! Why are we suffering with soy ? This triggered a sensitivity to bananas and gluten-free yogurt it seems like it's a cycle that it goes on.  The tiniest amount of something gets me I'm guessing the tiny bit of breading that I took one tiny nibble of ...yikes ..im cringing from it .. Feels like my stomach is going to explode yet still very hungry 😔  How long does this last?! Thank you so much

This is an older article, but may be helpful.

I have had orthodontic work done. The 3M invisalign material was no problem. BUT my retainers are another matter. They seemed okay for a few months. Now, however, they cause a burning sensation on my tongue, gums and insides of my lips. The burning sensation is now spreading to my throat. I notice it when I breathe. This is annoying and interferes with my enjoyment of eating. I am visiting with my provider tomorrow. We'll see where this goes from here.

Exactly which blood tests were done? There are a few different ones and some docs don't do them all. Also, your results and reference ranges for each?
