Chocolate Cake Mix, Dark Chocolate Frosting Mix, And Cherry Pie Filling

I seem to remember from my glutenous past, making a cake that had cherry pie filling inside. Can you do that with gluten-free cake mix? I have some Bob's Red Mill chocolate cake mix, Pamela's dark chocolate frosting mix, and a can of cherry pie filling (I checked the ingredients and it's A-OK).

Ideas?

For my dd's birthday last month, I made Rissaroo's black forest cake...only with a different cake recipe. We loved it.

Here's my version of a black forest chocolate cake:

i combined these two recipes:

(and i added about a cup of ground almonds to the recipe)

and i can't find the link to the black forest cake, but i'd check out any recipe for black forest chocolate cake.

By the way, I LOVE Pamela's dark chocolate frosting! It's so amazingly good!

Thanks - those both sound great!

The first thing that comes to mind, is to make the cake, cut it into two layers, and put the cherry filling in between. The frosting could go on top.

      Thanks for your input.

If you have hemorrhoids 1x weekly I don't see how you have time to heal from one episode before you experience another one, unless each one is a very minor event. Have you consulted a physician about your hemorrhoid issue? It's not normal to be having an episode every week unless it is really one episode that is not completely healing between weekly flareups.

No I haven't had one since 2021. I rarely have more than 1 per week.

Sorry, I see that now as I reread your original post. You say you have hemorrhoids "only once a week" now. When I develop hemorrhoids, which is once every few years now, it generally takes 3-4 days for healing to take place. So, it doesn't seem like you could have much relief time between episodes if you have them weekly. Have you had a lower GI scoping done recently?

Everyday I eat a medium to large apple in the morning and a large banana at night. I eat a cup of oatmeal in the evening. The ezekiel wheat bread I eat has a good amount of fiber. I haven't dealt with constipation for at least a year. Most of the time my feces are soft.
