Brands That Disclose Gluten Containing Ingredients?

I know that Kraft and Oscar Mayer clearly disclose gluten. What other brands do this? I wish kraft made everything!

Also I was wondering about natural flavors. I know that they may contain gluten and I should call the manufacturer and verify the source, but if we are advised to read labels every time we purchase something because ingredients can change, then I feel like I should be verifying the source of natural flavors every time. Does this make sense? What a pain.

The companies can be found at these two sites: Open Original Shared Link and Open Original Shared Link

You won't have to worry about natural flavors, etc., with these companies. It helps to bring the list with you when you shop.

FDA Food allergern labeling laws also require that wheat be listed, and not hidden, in any product.

It is too bad that the labeling laws restrict just to wheat, rather than any source of gluten. I got nailed the other night by the "barley malt" hiding in the natural flavoring in the Prego sauce I used.

The irony is that I really don't eat much in the way of processed food, I only used this sauce because my husband thought it was safe for me. (at Campbell's, NOT DH!)

I asked my cardiologist about stopping vitamins.  He said his tests account for all detectable vitamins from sources other than food.  I only need to stop them for a couple of days.  He has me keep records of meds and vitamins I've ingested over the past 10 days and prior and he does his calculations.

Reply to treats I try and eat to bring up the glucose. Sometime I get up 3 times a night and eat something. I don't think food is the issue. A lot of the food they say should help doesn't.  Many mornings my level is 59 and I feel sick, sometimes for hours. It has been recommended I go to an Endocrinologist.

Many years ago yes, after eating and going to bed, apparently my esophagus filled with food that my body rejected, the esophagus would lay against the Heart sack (pericardium?) and the heart would respond by becoming arrhythmic. That went away with the strict diet.
