Can Your Symptoms Change?

Hi I am wondering if your symptoms can change like one week it may be your digestive that is acting up then it seems to disappear and your nervouse system kicks up for a day or two then your muscles ache etc you get the idea...can this happen or may it be something else and if it can happen can someone explain why...so much to try to learn,,,

Hi GFGirl.....As far as I know....when your immune system is still nutso, any of your body systems is up for grabs. If you are not absorbing nutrients, the same thing. My symptoms don't fluctuate quickly, or weekly, but it seems that just about every part of my body has been compromised to some extent. It may be that you are just more aware of one thing over another at any given time....or one system more prevelant (more attention grabbing as it were). This is a tough question to answer. You may still be in the healing process and it'll all straighten out after a while.

Be aware that not everything is caused by Celiac.....this also is a cause for confusion. Keep your physician up to date on everything that occurs.

I would say that every time I am glutened, the symptoms vary. I usually always have the digestive ones but even those act differently from time to time. It can be very confusing. A journal is a good way to keep track of those wacky things. Recently I started having shoulder pain which I used to have for years, but in the opposite shoulder! It will pass like it always does and it will be something new...
