Smithville Inn

The Smithville Inn advised me that they can accomodate a gluten free meal but you

must ask the server/manager so that the chef knows what to do. I believe the

manager's name is Heather (I lost her business card). The Owners of Smithville Inn also own Fred & Ethel's Tavern and they can do gluten free too (they are more like a casual tavern, the Inn is more formal).

Smithville is a small village in Galloway Township, NJ (near Atlantic City) and it's a "craft" type group of shops. It's a nice day-trip. My favorites shops there are the T-Shirt shop, the various craft stores, the American Indian shop, lots of costume jewelry, two Irish items shops, a Christmas ornament shop, a stuffed animal store(toys), some funky shops that sell tied-dyed stuff, clothing shop for women and children.

      Shingles is dormant and related to chicken pox when one has had in the past.Shingles comes out when stress is heightened.I had my 3rd Shingles in 2023.

      Oats naturally contain a protein called avenin, which is similar to the gluten proteins found in wheat, barley, and rye. While avenin is generally considered safe for most people with celiac disease, some individuals, around 5-10% of celiacs, may also have sensitivity to avenin, leading to symptoms similar to gluten exposure. You may fall into this category, and eliminating them is the best way to figure this out. Some people substitute gluten-free quinoa flakes for oats if they want a hot cereal substitute.
