Gluton Intolerance And Candida

This is dire,

Since going on my gluten free diet I have felt much healthier, though since I started to eliminate yeast I have been feeling even better ( though I also would like to get my thyroid check). So after reading up on candida, I was informed about a spit test:Open Original Shared Link

I'm excited to know about the home test and plan to do the test tomorrow morning. Though just to test it early, I decided to also try the test today. Within seconds of my spit floating at the top string like legs begin to form, and at the end of the legs cloud like particles.

How likely is it that I may just have candida and not gluten intolerance, but felt improvement of symptoms going gluten free due to my reduce diet of certain foods? I also still question about getting my thyroid check. Most visible symptoms of improvements going gluten free was a improvement of hair texture ( partial, but not fully... ), a small decrease in eczema/ acne. Since I've eliminated yeast lately ( do not want to go on Candida diet since I want accurate test results by doctor) my rash seem to have been going away some, lump feels a little different, and I feel somewhat healthier....

(Need a candida and thyroid test done. Have been neglected by local hospital.)

I also have done the spit test. Was positive. Then when I saw my Dr a few weeks ago she verified that yes I have a systemic candida infection.

How to treat/ cure it?

Did the home test this morning and tested positive, no surprise.

Oats naturally contain a protein called avenin, which is similar to the gluten proteins found in wheat, barley, and rye. While avenin is generally considered safe for most people with celiac disease, some individuals, around 5-10% of celiacs, may also have sensitivity to avenin, leading to symptoms similar to gluten exposure. You may fall into this category, and eliminating them is the best way to figure this out. Some people substitute gluten-free quinoa flakes for oats if they want a hot cereal substitute. If you are interested in summaries of scientific publications on the topic of oats and celiac disease, we have an entire category dedicated to it which is here: https://www.celiac.com/celiac-disease/oats-and-celiac-disease-are-they-gluten-free/
