Anyone know? It's not on glutenfreedrugs.com. Imitrex is similar and is gluten-free. I took Relpax about an hour ago and have not had any reaction, but I know there is a more comprehensive link someone here had...care to help or post it again? I printed it all out but can't find it!

Well it's not on the Delphi list either :( so I would call before taking it again.

jknnej Collaborator

I will call tomorrow morning. It's hard to tell if I'm reacting b/c I'm already sick with this migraine.

skbird Contributor

Let us know. I was given some of that as a sample from my doc - haven't used it yet...

Migraine sufferers: there is hope!

I called Pfizer today: Relpax IS gluten free. And, I personally have used it twice and NO reaction. So, go for it!

Thank God!!!!

PS How do we get it added to glutenfreedrugs.com and the Delphi list? By the way, what is the website for the Delphi list?

KaitiUSA Enthusiast

celiac3270 posted about the Delphi list in the Product section and was sending it out to anyone who wants a copy of it.

celiac3270 also posted where you can get it if you want to get it yourself:

1) Go to the website, Open Original Shared Link

2) Click on "messages" or "start reading"

3) Select the folder "gluten-free Product List"

4) Click on the topic called "Downloadable files word"

5) Of the four options, choose the one in the upper right.

It's free, it's 79 pages

Great! Can you imagine is our migraine med had gluten in it? Like I need more migraines. What a vicious cycle.

Thanks for finding out!

Stephanie

Wow, another forum like ours. Kati, are you a member of that one, too? Are a lot of our members also on Delphi? I subscribed just now.

KaitiUSA Enthusiast

I personally like this forum better but yes they have alot of members(not sure how many from here)...and yes I am a member on that one too...I just don't post there much...this is my home for posting :D

jknnej Collaborator

Yes, this is my home for posting, too. The other one looks pretty cool when you need to study up on something specific, but I like this one best. Will be a member for life!

This treatment looks promising. Its aim is to provoke immune tolerance of gluten, possibly curing the disease. It passed the phase 2 trial with flying colours, and I came across a post on Reddit by one of the study volunteers. Apparently, the results were good enough that the company is applying for fast track approval.  Anokion Announces Positive Symptom Data from its Phase 2 Trial Evaluating KAN-101 for the Treatment of Celiac Disease https://www.reddit.com/r/Celiac/comments/1krx2wh/kan_101_trial_put_on_hold/

BTW, we've done other articles on this topic that I wanted to share here (not to condone smoking!):

Hi everyone  This has been a crazy year so far... How many people actually get entire sensory overload from gluten or something similar ?  My jaw is going nuts ..and that nerve is affecting my upper back and so on ...  Bones even hurt.  Brain fog. Etc  I had eggs seemed fine.   Then my aid cooked a chicken stir fry in the microwave because my food order shorted a couple key items .   I was so hungry but I noticed light breading and some ingredients with SOY !!! Why are we suffering with soy ? This triggered a sensitivity to bananas and gluten-free yogurt it seems like it's a cycle that it goes on.  The tiniest amount of something gets me I'm guessing the tiny bit of breading that I took one tiny nibble of ...yikes ..im cringing from it .. Feels like my stomach is going to explode yet still very hungry 😔  How long does this last?! Thank you so much

This is an older article, but may be helpful.

I have had orthodontic work done. The 3M invisalign material was no problem. BUT my retainers are another matter. They seemed okay for a few months. Now, however, they cause a burning sensation on my tongue, gums and insides of my lips. The burning sensation is now spreading to my throat. I notice it when I breathe. This is annoying and interferes with my enjoyment of eating. I am visiting with my provider tomorrow. We'll see where this goes from here.
