I was doing really well for several weeks. I finished my antiparasite meds and have been taking 200 bill probiotics daily ever since. i was down in Florida visiting family a few weeks ago and was eating everything and feeling fine...now my indigestion is back and i cant eat large meals again so of course im dropping weight. Any thoughts on what could be causing this? i still need to get rechecked for parasites, but with all the probiotics im taking i doubt anything is still alive. My lower GI has still been fairly normal...no bloating and regular- its just my upper GI that is the problem. i have this uncomfortable heaviness after i eat (especially protein). I may have gotten hit with some gluten cc last Friday...ate at a place that had gluten free dishes but not sure of the ingredients were completely gluten-free. So not sure if this is just a flare up or what but its driving me crazy cause i really was feeling better.

I am actually moving so im curious to see if living in a new place will have a positive effect on my symptoms...maybe theres something going on where i live that is causing the constant exposure to parasites?

You may have developed conjestion in your gall system which has increased lately and is causing symptoms. This is a common problems with celiacs. Many of us do prorgrams which include gall bladder flushes, Curezone has a good forum on this - Liver Flush Support Forum.

As I learned recently candida is very hard to control and intestinal problems common. When I was working to improve my digestion I didn't consider candida as part of the gas/bloating problem but recently a ND gave me some candida herbs to which I added Neem Leaf Capsules and I'm much better and can eat more foods without becoming bloated and gassy. I have been able to stop taking digestive enzymes but still take probiotics in the form of goat's milk yogurt. Yesterday I was able to eat some gluten-free all purpose flour for the first time in years.

Have you ever been tested for h-pylori infection? I was tested via blood once, which came back negative. I tested positive with a stool test. Look up the symptoms and see if they match up.

BTW, I get that fullness from small meals too at times. Mine is caused by gastritis, which may or may not be from the h-pylori...can't get a straight answer on it!

When my wife attempted to open the online card in the store with a cashier, it would not work. We then showed the owner the link to the card, the online receipt that I got upon purchase, and even my bank statement confirming the purchase. That did not satisfy her, since she said she needed the link to open to reveal the gift ID num. They even admitted they had a systems problem around that time.

Was the card itself lost or just the record or both?

We were flabergasted that the owner would not acknowledge a $50 e-gift card I purchased for my celiac wife. My wife tried to open it in the store and was informed there had been a system change and they could not find the record. No worries, she was told, just talk to management. Six months later, and numerous absurd back and forths, and the owner literally informs me there have been "bad actors", so she can't make good on this lost gift card. In other words, she accused me of lying and committing fraud... over $50! Please be careful with your orders and purchases here.

Yes, some people do get withdrawal from gluten but gluten withdrawal doesn't usually cause gut pain. Maybe more like general body aches and discomfort. We have articles on gluten withdrawal on this forum. You might do a search for them. Applesauce is very acidic and some brands have added vitamin C (ascorbic acid) which makes them more acidic. This can damage the stomach lining if you eat it too often. Especially if your stomach lining is already compromised. Ibuprofen inhibits the body's ability to rebuild the stomach's protective mucosal lining. That's why it can cause peptic ulcers. As strange as it may sound, low level irritation/inflammation stimulates the body to rebuild the stomach lining. There are two steps in this rebuilding process known as COX 1 and COX 2. Ibuprofen represses both COX 1 and COX 2. Celecoxcib, a prescription anti inflammatory, inhibits only COX 2, making it less likely to cause damage to the gut lining.

Do you or anyone know alot about ibuprofen  I wasn't sure if I was eating too much apple sauce.   Something is making my pain so much worse  I'm referring to the intense pins and needles in my feet and lower legs.  Jaw actually has tardive dystonia and muscle spasms throughout my back Almost like an opposite effect that a pain reliever would do. I'm fairly new to this. Whatever is going on seems to be worsening  Do people get a withdrawal effect from gluten?  It's extremely painful 😖  I'll post that question or research on the site  Thank you everyone for responding
