How Not To Be A Hillbilly

So yesterday I went and got me a box of wine - remembering how me and kareng joked on here about drinking it straight from the box

so, it wasn't cold (oh, excuse me, chilled), so I put it in the freezer to cool it off.

NOTE: Do Not EVER Do This!

So when I decided to get it out and have a cup of wine on a Saturday night, I went and opened it. My kitchen (and me) both now look like one of them polka dot dresses that I Love Lucy used to wear.

When the air hit that box of wine, I don't know, I guess the air in it got compressed in the freezer, and boy oh oh boy when I turned the crank on that thing, that wine flew all over EVERYTHING! :o

Then the cardboard box that it's in got all mushy and I said I am NOT losing any more of this wine, so I got out my duct tape and taped that box up, top to bottom.

So now sitting in my fridge is a box covered in grey, pink and orange duct tape, just waiting for me.

And I wonder why they call us Hillbillies. B)

That is too funny! I almost spit out the boxed wine I was drinking, laughing so hard!

Duct tape is a wonderous invention! :)

oh funny. that would also be don't leave the champagne in the freezer too long or you'll be drinking slushies and the first glass will be *much* stronger than the rest.

Also known as 'jacking', this is a lovely way to get applejack-hard (very hard!) cider!

Thank you that’s really helpful, hopeful won’t have to have a biopsy.

That means the normal range (i.e. not celiac disease) would be a result less than 14.99.  Your result is WAY above that. Some gastroenterologists would diagnose that as celiac disease even without a confirming biopsy because it is more than ten times the top of the normal range.

Hi everyone. Back in 2022 I had blood work drawn for iga ext gliadin. Since then I’ve developed worse stomach issues and all other health issues. My doctor just said cut out gluten. He did no further testing. Please see my test results attached. I just need some direction cause I feel so ill and the stomach pain is becoming worse. Can this test show indications for other gastrointestinal diseases?

Thank you. These were the results TTG ABS NUMERICAL: > 250.0 U/mL [< 14.99]  Really don’t understand the results!

Clearly from what you've said the info on Dailymed is much more up to date than the other site, which hasn't been updated since 2017. The fact that some companies might be repackaging drugs does not mean the info on the ingredients is not correct.
