Glutino Crackers

Does anyone else love Glutino crackers? They are my favorite. Love the shape and texture similar to a Ritz. My big complaint is the packaging. They are packaged in 2 pouches inside a box. EVERY TIME I buy them at least a third of them are broken. They need to package them in sleeves like Ritz. I sent a message on their website under "contact us". If anyone else is annoyed by this here is the website. Maybe if a bunch of us complain we can get the packaging changed.

That annoys me also but bear in mind that if they change into that type of packaging the price will likely go up. Either people or a new machine will need to put them into the sleeves and they will need to either make or purchase the sleeves themselves which would then still need to go into another foil or plastic pouch before going into the box.

I would sooooo pay extra not to have half of them broken. Now I'm paying for half a box of crumbs.

I sprinkle crumbs (of any crackers) on soups and salads for extra crunch. Other people use them for coating foods. At least they wouldn't be wasted.

I realize that. That isn't the point. I don't waste them either but am paying for a box of whole crackers.

I’ve used tinctures and made my own edibles with gluten-free ingredients to stay safe. Dispensary staff don’t always know about gluten, so I double-check labels or just make my own.

It's great to hear that there are some good doctors out there, and this is an example of why having a formal diagnosis can definitely be helpful.

Update: I have a wonderful new gastroenterologist. She wants to be sure there’s nothing more serious, like refractory celiac, going on. She ordered various tests including some micronutrient tests that no one has ever ordered before.  I’m deficient in folate and zinc and starting supplements for both. I’m so glad I decided to go to a new GI!

Autoimmune diseases tend to cluster. Many of them are found close together on the chromosomes.

Just giving another update... I was referred to rheumatology, and they suspect that I may also be dealing with fibromyalgia (it has not been formally diagnosed, but just suggested at this point).  So, I am continuing with the anti-inflammatory diet and vitamins and still working to keep getting rid of all these hidden gluten sources, but I also do have another possible explanation for some of the issues that I'm dealing with.
