Today I am suffering from eating a rather pink chicken breast for dinner last night. :( Yes, entirely my fault - it was take-out, I saw it looked a bit pink, but being tired of being "that picky eater" I decided to eat it. Oooh, bad choice.

Anyway, to help combat the nausea/vomiting that I've been dealing with this morning, I took one adult finkmote (sp?) tablet, then realized I didn't know if it was gluten-free. I found a website that said the soft gels are definitely lactose- and gluten-free, but it didn't mention about the type I took.

Anyone? And yes, I will be sticking to the TRAT diet today and likely tomorrow. Oog.

I found this:

Filmkote Tablets 50 mg

Each round, biconvex, peach coral tablet, intagliated "GRAVOL" on one side and quadrisected on the other, contains dimenhydrinate 50 mg. Nonmedicinal ingredients: alumina, cellulose, FD&C Yellow No. 6, lactose, magnesium stearate, polyethylene glycol, silicon dioxide, starch (corn), talc, and titanium dioxide. Gluten- and tartrazine-free.

Hope this helps!

If your symptoms don't ease up soon get yourself to the doctor. You likely have salmonella and sometimes folks need a course of antibiotics to clear it up. You may be fine after a day or so in which case don't worry.

Also make sure you call that takeout place and talk to the manager. He will need to alert the staff as to what happened. If the manager seems clueless call the local Health Dept and let them know. I actually had a manager ask what salmonella was when a restaurant got me with undercooked shrimp and chicken in a mixed meal. This floored me as I used to be a chef and restaurant staff is supposed to be trained in this sort of thing and what to do to prevent it. I was very sick for a couple weeks before I could get the doctor to test. 2 days later I got an apology and a script for Cipro.

BTW, we've done other articles on this topic that I wanted to share here (not to condone smoking!):

Hi everyone  This has been a crazy year so far... How many people actually get entire sensory overload from gluten or something similar ?  My jaw is going nuts ..and that nerve is affecting my upper back and so on ...  Bones even hurt.  Brain fog. Etc  I had eggs seemed fine.   Then my aid cooked a chicken stir fry in the microwave because my food order shorted a couple key items .   I was so hungry but I noticed light breading and some ingredients with SOY !!! Why are we suffering with soy ? This triggered a sensitivity to bananas and gluten-free yogurt it seems like it's a cycle that it goes on.  The tiniest amount of something gets me I'm guessing the tiny bit of breading that I took one tiny nibble of ...yikes ..im cringing from it .. Feels like my stomach is going to explode yet still very hungry 😔  How long does this last?! Thank you so much

I have had orthodontic work done. The 3M invisalign material was no problem. BUT my retainers are another matter. They seemed okay for a few months. Now, however, they cause a burning sensation on my tongue, gums and insides of my lips. The burning sensation is now spreading to my throat. I notice it when I breathe. This is annoying and interferes with my enjoyment of eating. I am visiting with my provider tomorrow. We'll see where this goes from here.

Exactly which blood tests were done? There are a few different ones and some docs don't do them all. Also, your results and reference ranges for each?
