Liquid Vitamins

I was diagnosed with celiac disease about a year ago and have been gluten free since. I feel better than I have in over twelve years; however, I know I should be on some type of vitamins and definitely on some calcium. Does anyone out there have a suggestion for gluten-free pre-natal vitamins? Also any suggestions for a gluten-free calcium supplement. I would prefer liquid form, but it is not a necessity. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

PS - I'm new to this, so bear with me :P

There is a great vitamin that I've been taking for the past year and half that has everthing you need in it. It is gluten-free and tastes good and can be mixed with anything (juice, milk, tea, ice cream, peanut butter). It is what got me back to feeling like a normal person and has helped heal the villi damage from the Celiac. You can find it at reliv.com. There are other liquid gluten-free vitamins that I have tried but none of them made me feel like this one.

I use Jamieson vitamins becasue they will clearly indicate gluten free on the front of the label... if it is gluten-free of course ;)

Are Centrum Liquid gluten-free?

I'm having jaw surgery on friday and will be on all liquid for a week and my surgeon told me to try to find one that is gluten-free and good for kids. I take centrum daily.

thanks!

I take regular Centrum for a multi-vitamin, but have taken a gluten-free liquid vitamin for calcium. The one I take is: Natural Wealth Liquid Calcium. It says on the side that it's "guaranteed free of: yeast, wheat, gluten, milk or milk derivatives, lactose, sugar, preservatives, artificial flavor, sodium (less than 5 mg per serving)."

I've been Celiac for a few months (or diagnosed, I should say) -- and am researching whether I should be taking liquid supplements because of easier absorption? Could anyone share any info on whether that is the case? Just want to do what it best for my body. Thanks!

This treatment looks promising. Its aim is to provoke immune tolerance of gluten, possibly curing the disease. It passed the phase 2 trial with flying colours, and I came across a post on Reddit by one of the study volunteers. Apparently, the results were good enough that the company is applying for fast track approval.  Anokion Announces Positive Symptom Data from its Phase 2 Trial Evaluating KAN-101 for the Treatment of Celiac Disease https://www.reddit.com/r/Celiac/comments/1krx2wh/kan_101_trial_put_on_hold/

BTW, we've done other articles on this topic that I wanted to share here (not to condone smoking!):

Hi everyone  This has been a crazy year so far... How many people actually get entire sensory overload from gluten or something similar ?  My jaw is going nuts ..and that nerve is affecting my upper back and so on ...  Bones even hurt.  Brain fog. Etc  I had eggs seemed fine.   Then my aid cooked a chicken stir fry in the microwave because my food order shorted a couple key items .   I was so hungry but I noticed light breading and some ingredients with SOY !!! Why are we suffering with soy ? This triggered a sensitivity to bananas and gluten-free yogurt it seems like it's a cycle that it goes on.  The tiniest amount of something gets me I'm guessing the tiny bit of breading that I took one tiny nibble of ...yikes ..im cringing from it .. Feels like my stomach is going to explode yet still very hungry 😔  How long does this last?! Thank you so much

I have had orthodontic work done. The 3M invisalign material was no problem. BUT my retainers are another matter. They seemed okay for a few months. Now, however, they cause a burning sensation on my tongue, gums and insides of my lips. The burning sensation is now spreading to my throat. I notice it when I breathe. This is annoying and interferes with my enjoyment of eating. I am visiting with my provider tomorrow. We'll see where this goes from here.
