Can anyone confirm that Inderal is Gluten Free? I checked the glutenfreedrugs.com website, but it is not listed. I did a search here, but didn't find a definitive answer.

Laurie-

I believe Inderal is made my Wyeth (unless you are using a generic). I would go here: Open Original Shared Link

This is their contact info and you can call Wyeth directly and they will be able to let you know if it is gluten-free for sure. :)

Be very careful of Inderal----it gave me asthma when I really didn't have it at all. I ended up at a respiratory specialist who nailed what was wrong with me. My regular doctor had me on Inderal AND a lot of asthma medication. When I went off ALL of it, I was fine and had no asthma symptoms at all. I now take Verapamil to keep my blood pressure low and my migraines away and wouldn't touch Inderal with a 10 foot pole.

Jen - thanks for the info. I called Wyeth. They confirm that Inderal is, indeed, Gluten Free.

Thanks rmj when I first rang up it was we can't do it without , but I talked to a lovely lady and she sorted it all out for me, so it pays to be persistent , I would have had to decline if I hadn't been given the water option too , so yes I'm glad too 😌

I’m so glad they listened to your concerns!  I hope you get some answers from the MRI.

Had my MRI today I didn't have to have the manitol with my allergy's , I just had a litre of water , they were great with my concerns , so let's see if anything comes of if will keep posted once I have results 👍

Thank you ,it’s been a long road for me for having both now ,what upsets the most is that if they discovered that I also have cealiac earlier I would not have injested gluten if I was aware. Double whammy.
