Hi Everyone,

Can you tell me if DH can show up mildly inbetween fingers or on the feet?

My son gets teeny tiny bumps (can barely see them) clear liquid

in them and itch like mad! They come and go, do not spread and do not become

huge.

Can someone have DH outbreaks only once in awhile, or is it continous?

My dad has them so terrible his legs are scarred and COVERED with sores...

He never went to the doctor until he was 83! He suffered with it, and thought

he had a skin ailment from WW2. Very sad he has had to go through this his entire life. It wasn't until i saw pictures and all of his symptoms that I told him what I thought he had and he tested postive for Cel. Anyhow, his aren't anything like

my sons...however, I was wondering if there are different degree's.

Any info appreciated. THX

I'm relatively new to the forum, but was diagnosed with DH last September, and subsequently celiac as well. I don't know anything about Dyshidrosis, but I do know that when I have a flare up, MANY times, it's on/between my fingers. I haven't had sores appear on my feet, but from what I understand if you have DH, the break outs can vary from person to person. Considering that your dad had DH and Celiac, it wouldn't be far-fetched that your son would have it. Have you ever been screened for Celiac? You are predisposed to it now that you know your dad had it. You don't have to present with DH to have celiac, I did, but my brother didn't. He was screened for celiac because I was diagnosed with it...and it turned out he has it. Just something to consider.

I failed to mention in my reply that it's very typical for DH lesions to break out symmetrically - i.e. both hands, or both elbows, etc.

      Yes, some people do get withdrawal from gluten but gluten withdrawal doesn't usually cause gut pain. Maybe more like general body aches and discomfort. We have articles on gluten withdrawal on this forum. You might do a search for them. Applesauce is very acidic and some brands have added vitamin C (ascorbic acid) which makes them more acidic. This can...

      Do you or anyone know alot about ibuprofen I wasn't sure if I was eating too much apple sauce. Something is making my pain so much worse I'm referring to the intense pins and needles in my feet and lower legs. Jaw actually has tardive dystonia and muscle spasms throughout my back Almost like an opposite effect that a pain reliever...

Six months later, and numerous absurd back and forths, and the owner literally informs me there have been "bad actors", so she can't make good on this lost gift card. In other words, she accused me of lying and committing fraud... over $50! Please be careful with your orders and purchases here.

We have articles on gluten withdrawal on this forum. You might do a search for them. Applesauce is very acidic and some brands have added vitamin C (ascorbic acid) which makes them more acidic. This can damage the stomach lining if you eat it too often. Especially if your stomach lining is already compromised. Ibuprofen inhibits the body's ability to rebuild the stomach's protective mucosal lining. That's why it can cause peptic ulcers. As strange as it may sound, low level irritation/inflammation stimulates the body to rebuild the stomach lining. There are two steps in this rebuilding process known as COX 1 and COX 2. Ibuprofen represses both COX 1 and COX 2. Celecoxcib, a prescription anti inflammatory, inhibits only COX 2, making it less likely to cause damage to the gut lining.

I'm fairly new to this. Whatever is going on seems to be worsening  Do people get a withdrawal effect from gluten?  It's extremely painful 😖  I'll post that question or research on the site  Thank you everyone for responding
