Hey Guys,

Not sure if any of you are aware but there is this new i-phone app its calles is that gluten free??? and you have to pay for it but let me tell you it gives lists by food that are varified gluten freee omg its godsenttt:)Does anyone have this app??? xoxox kisses to my celiac friendss

I've had that one for the last year or so, it's been a life saver!!! Teachers at school will call if they need a quick answer, as will my parents and the kids' friends' parents when there's a playdate! Not to mention when I'm at the grocery store! I just wish it had personal care products as well as food...

I've been wondering about this new app. Of course I need to buy an iphone first. But, by the sounds of what your saying, it just might be worth the cost. Thanks for the helpful advice.

I don't have that one, but I have one called ShopWell. It's linked to the Shopwell.com web site where you can set up a profile and specify the types of foods you can and cannot eat (low fat, gluten free, low sugar, low salt, etc.) With the app, you can scan the bar codes of products with your iPhone camera, and it will tell you if that food fits in with your profile and what the ingredients are. I scanned everything in my kitchen last night. LOL!! :)

Does anyone have the gluten free shopping app from Triumph Dining?

I have "Is That Gluten Free" but it could be more extensive. The Triumph app is a bit pricey, so hoping to get some feedback from someone who has it before I decide to spring for it.

      I have had orthodontic work done. The 3M invisalign material was no problem. BUT my retainers are another matter. They seemed okay for a few months. Now, however, they cause a burning sensation on my tongue, gums and insides of my lips. The burning sensation is now spreading to my throat. I notice it when I breathe. This is annoying and interferes with my enjoyment of eating. I am visiting with my provider tomorrow. We'll see where this goes from here.

      Exactly which blood tests were done? There are a few different ones and some docs don't do them all. Also, your results and reference ranges for each?

      Thankyou so much for your words.Its a hard battle when a supposed well known hospital whose celiac " specialist " has down played me because my colon looks fine and put it in my medical and so pcp doesn't take seriously. In their eyes we all carry that gene.Im having alot of bad days trying to be positive because of it.
