Extremely Vivid And Weird Dreams Since Diagnosed?

Hey guys! I've been having REALLY vivid dreams of me being pregnant, and having children, :P and I've also had a few where I'm being chased by murderers! :o ever since I've been diagnosed.

I literally wake up every morning exhausted by these dreams, does anyone else have really weird dreams?

THANKS

I've had these my entire life, and even after going gluten-free I have them.

Really it has more to do with when you wake up--do you wake up in the middle of REM, or immediately after?--and whether or not you think about your dreams upon waking that determines whether or not you'll remember them. Also, if you get "practice" remembering your dreams, you'll remember them more and more as time goes on. That is, if you spend a little time every day doing dream recall, you'll start to recall more and more.

I hope they're not nightmares, at any rate. Weird dreams can be fun!

I have had those dreams all my life too from early childhood into adulthood. My crazy dreamlife just started up again after dx last april. Now my nightmares are of forgetting I cannot eat gluten and freaking out after eating a bowl of pasta or a slice of pizza and then realizing in horror what I had done. I usually collapse in the dream overwhelmed by fear of the gluten reaction.... argh... hang in. its good to talk to someone about it if they continue.

I was taking medicine for sibo but it was not agreeing with my stomach at all.Was on gabapentin but it amps me up.I was taking in morning because it wasn't allowing me to sleep. This has always been an issue with medicine and me.Even going to dentist, the good shot that numbs you once, I can't take because it makes my heart beat fast and I  get the shakes.I have to take the crappy stuff and get injected always more than 4 times always. Its infuriating

I showed one doctor I went to once because completely clueless of celiac disease and yes that one was connected to a well known hospital and she said oh thats just a bunch of people that think they are celiac coming together. I said um no they have doctors and knowledge behind what is being written. So bay area is Downplaying this site! SADLY

If you successfully digest gluten with enzyme supplements so it won’t give you side effects, your challenge won’t be worthwhile because the digested fragments of gluten also won’t stimulate antibody production or cause intestinal damage.

You can search this site for prescriptions medications, but will need to know the manufacturer/maker if there is more than one, especially if you use a generic version of the medication: To see the ingredients you will need to click on the correct version of the medication and maker in the results, then scroll down to "Ingredients and Appearance" and click it, and then look at "Inactive Ingredients," as any gluten ingredients would likely appear there, rather than in the Active Ingredients area. https://dailymed.nlm.nih.gov/dailymed/
