Should I Be Taking Vitamins?

I am day 5 gluten free and am wondering if I should be taking vitamins. Pre diagnoses vitamins made me feel sick,( maybe they had gluten, not sure). I have low ferritin but again get sick from the iron supplements and they don't seem to improve my levels anyway. I also had low b12 and vit d 3 yrs ago when I was pregnant but never have been rechecked.

Do any of you recommend taking vitamins and what kinds? Should my dr that diagnosed me during endo last week be testing me? I don't see him for 2 months, he just told me to go gluten free and see ya later.

Yes, your doctor should definitely test your Vitamin B12 and D. Most of us are deficient in those. Can you get in to see him sooner? And you need a good multi-vitamin, too. I take Nature Made.....they are gluten free. You probably also need Folate (B6) as well. I'm sure some others here will remember more stuff you should have checked. Good luck.

Your response on this matter is what I expect. You’ve had a similar episode years ago, but this one is lasting longer!

I'd like to clarify: Is the pain you describe in the area just below your chest constant, or does it only appear when you start moving?
