I went to this bakery/deli shortly after being diagnosed. The whole place is gluten-free. I want to live here! Lol

They also have a web site where you can purchase items and have them shipped to you!

I just downloaded the pdf file for the menu for this bakery, "Organic Bliss Delis, Bakery, and Expresso Bar" in Sylvania, Ohio. They are NOT a gluten free enterprise, they are listing "choice of gluten free bread" on the sandwiches and clearly list some items as being made on wheat flatbreads.

Where do these wheat items come from ? Are they made at this bakery, or imported from another vendor ?

I've been in there and talked to the owner. All of the items made there are gluten-free. They have 2 facilities and everything made at the one I went to is gluten-free.

Interesting, when I suffered for a few months with ectopics I noticed that carbohydrates would cause indigestion and bloating in my stomach, then that would lead to my heart skipping beats, and I could feel it in my throat, it was very unsettling.  My last serious bout of this was after eating a Muller Rice Pudding for breakfast.   I happened to be wearing a 48 hour halter at the time and cardiology picked it up, but they weren't worried about what they saw. There was some British doctor who'd made some videos on the Vagus nerve that I remember watching at the time which made sense of what I was experiencing, there did seem to be some sort of connection.

I asked my cardiologist about stopping vitamins.  He said his tests account for all detectable vitamins from sources other than food.  I only need to stop them for a couple of days.  He has me keep records of meds and vitamins I've ingested over the past 10 days and prior and he does his calculations.

Reply to treats I try and eat to bring up the glucose. Sometime I get up 3 times a night and eat something. I don't think food is the issue. A lot of the food they say should help doesn't.  Many mornings my level is 59 and I feel sick, sometimes for hours. It has been recommended I go to an Endocrinologist.
