I'm from NW Ohio and would love to start a support group! I think there uses to be one but it doesn't exist any more. Let me know!

Where in NW OH are you? I live near East Palestine, OH but on the PA side of the border. :)

I'm in Toledo.

I'm in Toledo.

I'm afraid that's a bit far for me to go for a support group. I hope you can find more people closer to you.

Lol I agree! I hope I find some too!

I went to a blog called glutenfreesupportoftoledo.com after seeing it in a newspaper article. It gives some info about celiac disease and tells how important a support group is. I left a question asking for more info in the comment section on June 22, 2011 and never got a reply.

I Googled Toledo Celiac Support group just yesterday and found a group posted that meets at the Toledo University Medical Center (formerly called MCO) Center for Creative Education building lower level every 2nd Tuesday of the month at 7:00pm. I looked again this morning and that didn't appear.

I'm wondering if that is old info, since the newspaper article didn't mention it?

I sent an email to the contact person listed and I'm waiting for a reply. If I hear back, I'll be sure to let you know.

Thank you that’s really helpful, hopeful won’t have to have a biopsy.

That means the normal range (i.e. not celiac disease) would be a result less than 14.99.  Your result is WAY above that. Some gastroenterologists would diagnose that as celiac disease even without a confirming biopsy because it is more than ten times the top of the normal range.

Hi everyone. Back in 2022 I had blood work drawn for iga ext gliadin. Since then I’ve developed worse stomach issues and all other health issues. My doctor just said cut out gluten. He did no further testing. Please see my test results attached. I just need some direction cause I feel so ill and the stomach pain is becoming worse. Can this test show indications for other gastrointestinal diseases?

Thank you. These were the results TTG ABS NUMERICAL: > 250.0 U/mL [< 14.99]  Really don’t understand the results!

Clearly from what you've said the info on Dailymed is much more up to date than the other site, which hasn't been updated since 2017. The fact that some companies might be repackaging drugs does not mean the info on the ingredients is not correct.
