I would be interested in hearing if anyone has had mouth problems, since you suspected this problem with Gluten?

I have not been diagnosed but I have SO many symptoms through out my body.My mouth is one area. My gums have thinned out ALOT. My tongue is swollen, sore, and the top is not pink anymore. My lips are always dry and cracked. My teeth have started to wear too.

It sounds as though you're suffering from nutritional deficiencies. Take a look at this list of deficiencies to see if anything "fits":

My son used to get canker sores. I thought they were cold sores/herpes but they were inside his mouth, too. He has only gotten them once when glutened since going gluten free a year ago.

I got mouth ulcers (canker Sores) all the time, I still get a few but nothing like before.

I've had mouth problems all my life but mostly noticed them the last 10 years and originally thought it was since having my twins 12 years ago but now i think my symptoms are linked to gluten! I've had really bad canker sores so bad that i took 2 lots of antibiotics to get rid of one batch a couple of years ago and currently have a lovely yellow one sticking out on my bottom lip so everyone can see it! nice! I'm currently being seen for gum disease (passed from dentist to dentist for over 8 years or so) they look at me like its my fault and ask me over and over if I smoke and drink red wine.... so sick of it! (the answer's no btw) I'm currently taking gluten in my diet every day for about 5 weeks now ready for a re-test and so far I currently have 3 large mouth ulcers and my gums have been more sensitive today than ever. None of my dentists have ever mentioned diet to me and my doctor who thinks I have IBS has never acknowledged mouth ulcers being diet related. hope this helps - i'm not diagnosed yet but pretty sure gluten is the culprit for many of my symptoms

I'm in the process of finding out if I have celiacs but I get canker sores quite often. And I have gum pain on and off (The dentist never did figure out why)

Was the card itself lost or just the record or both?

We were flabergasted that the owner would not acknowledge a $50 e-gift card I purchased for my celiac wife. My wife tried to open it in the store and was informed there had been a system change and they could not find the record. No worries, she was told, just talk to management. Six months later, and numerous absurd back and forths, and the owner literally informs me there have been "bad actors", so she can't make good on this lost gift card. In other words, she accused me of lying and committing fraud... over $50! Please be careful with your orders and purchases here.

Yes, some people do get withdrawal from gluten but gluten withdrawal doesn't usually cause gut pain. Maybe more like general body aches and discomfort. We have articles on gluten withdrawal on this forum. You might do a search for them. Applesauce is very acidic and some brands have added vitamin C (ascorbic acid) which makes them more acidic. This can damage the stomach lining if you eat it too often. Especially if your stomach lining is already compromised. Ibuprofen inhibits the body's ability to rebuild the stomach's protective mucosal lining. That's why it can cause peptic ulcers. As strange as it may sound, low level irritation/inflammation stimulates the body to rebuild the stomach lining. There are two steps in this rebuilding process known as COX 1 and COX 2. Ibuprofen represses both COX 1 and COX 2. Celecoxcib, a prescription anti inflammatory, inhibits only COX 2, making it less likely to cause damage to the gut lining.

Do you or anyone know alot about ibuprofen  I wasn't sure if I was eating too much apple sauce.   Something is making my pain so much worse  I'm referring to the intense pins and needles in my feet and lower legs.  Jaw actually has tardive dystonia and muscle spasms throughout my back Almost like an opposite effect that a pain reliever would do. I'm fairly new to this. Whatever is going on seems to be worsening  Do people get a withdrawal effect from gluten?  It's extremely painful 😖  I'll post that question or research on the site  Thank you everyone for responding
