Please Recommend Your Sublingual B-12

I have no idea what my B12 levels are and since I currently do not have medical insurance I am not going to find out any time soon! But - I have a lot of neuro symptoms in my feet and would like to try sublingual B12 as some on here have suggested.

Can you please recommend a brand? And how much would people suggest I try starting out? If it makes any difference, I have tested negative for celiac but react strongly to gluten.

Thanks very much. I think this forum is just awesome and provides so much support and info to someone just starting out.

I can recommend NOW Methyl B12. My doctor has me taking 2000 mcg in the a.m. and p.m., and my B12 levels test better now than when I was getting injections.

I get some at GNC that say gluten-free.

I also take Now brand of B-12 (cyanocobalamin) but my doc only has me taking 1,000 mcg once per day. I actually break it in half and take one half in the AM and one half in the PM. It also includes 100 mcg of folic acid. I have been taking it a couple of months, it seems to agree with my system but have not had a test lately to know where my levels are...

      It can take longer than 6 months for antibodies to drop to the normal range,  My DGP IgA took a few years as I got stricter and stricter about being gluten free  But having symptoms again could also mean you’re getting some gluten in your diet.

      Hi, I just had my 6 month check after being diagnosed Celiac 6 months ago.  All of my panel numbers were normal except: Deamidated Gliadin Abs, IgA (It is 31 with high being over 30)  I have also been having symptoms again. Am I not actually being as careful as I think I am or does it take longer than 6 months for this particular test to come back down?  I can't get ahold of my doctor this week as she is out.     Thank you!

      That is very strange, because it looks to me like two very different test results, but for the same test! It's definitely time to contact your doctor for clarity on this.
