My blood test will be in the morning. I'm glad I'm finally getting this done.

You have been eating gluten right? Also, make sure the full panel with the right tests are done.

I just had the blood test. I never heard anything from the doctor. I had to call them. When the nurse returned my call, she said, "There wasn't any sign of the antibody in 2 out of the 3 tests, so it doesn't look like you have the disease." If you keep having problems, we'll have you go in the do the test when they go into your belly (the endoscopy). I was surprised that I tested negative. But I have been on a gluten-free diet for about 5 weeks. They didn't tell me that it would affect the test results. My uncle had celiac spru and I know that I have gluten sensitivity. Since I went gluten-free, I have felt better than I have since I was a teenager. All of my symptoms disappeared. Even my BM have been normal, where before they never really were. The nurse did add,"But the doctor said that if your stomach feels better on the gluten-free diet, then stay on it." I told here that I was going to stay gluten-free.

Thank you that’s really helpful, hopeful won’t have to have a biopsy.

That means the normal range (i.e. not celiac disease) would be a result less than 14.99.  Your result is WAY above that. Some gastroenterologists would diagnose that as celiac disease even without a confirming biopsy because it is more than ten times the top of the normal range.

Hi everyone. Back in 2022 I had blood work drawn for iga ext gliadin. Since then I’ve developed worse stomach issues and all other health issues. My doctor just said cut out gluten. He did no further testing. Please see my test results attached. I just need some direction cause I feel so ill and the stomach pain is becoming worse. Can this test show indications for other gastrointestinal diseases?

Thank you. These were the results TTG ABS NUMERICAL: > 250.0 U/mL [< 14.99]  Really don’t understand the results!

Clearly from what you've said the info on Dailymed is much more up to date than the other site, which hasn't been updated since 2017. The fact that some companies might be repackaging drugs does not mean the info on the ingredients is not correct.
