I need a new shampoo. Which is better Suave or Dove and does anyone know what Suave's source of vitamin E is? My hair is currently resembling straw. :(

Thanks!

I found that Dove is better for my hair, it gives it more body and it feels healthier. Sauve dried my hair out even though I liked that there were more scents to choose from.

I do fine with Suave & don't worry about their source of Vitamin E --- it does not contain gluten.

I have not tried the Dove.

Are all Suave and Dove products gluten-free, including their conditioners? I have been spending way too much on hairproducts, and could use a hint on cheaper brands.

Thanks,

I know Suave are including the conditioners. I just called them (again) not more than 3 weeks ago.

I am using aveedo with oatmeal and my dr said that would be fine ... I am beginning to think not ...

No, no, no! don't use any shampoo or conditioner with oatmeal! Many of us won't use ANYTHING topical that contains oatmeal (especially those of us with celiac rash - dh). Oatmeal is grown next to wheat, harvested on the same equip., processed on the same lines --- in other words --- contaminated.

Thanks, I will try Suave. I have been using Dessert Essence, and it's not cheap, and their conditioner is really not very good.

Thanks for the list too makes me realise why I still get symptoms after cutting gluten , all that reading has just made sense to why I'm still struggling , thankyou Scott Adams very insightful , I've been baking to and there is xanthum gum in the flour , I understand now why I still have issues with that too, and ive had to cut dairy also , i had a terrible flare few months ago and my throat also was very irritable and I had sinuses issues all makes sence 👍
