I'm looking for some new fiber. Need one free of not only wheat related products but also oat.

Brown rice, broccoli, bananas, apples...there are lots of sources of fiber.

I really wasn't talking about sources. I wanted safe supplement brands.

I don't use it often as a supplement, but I have Yerba Prima psyllium husk powder, and apparently Metamucil also uses psyllium husk powder and adds flavors and whatnot to it.

Metamucil is gluten free. Your request was not clear.

You will need to contact them regarding the oats.

I think Metamucil is just the name brand of psyllium husk. I dont touch it because of the added stuff they put in it. I do use whole psyllium husk powder though. You can also get it in pill form but you have to take so many a day it gets really expensive for that convenience. psyllium husk dosent taste good at all straight up with water but I force myself since I dont get nearly enough fiber in my food since going gluten free.

Does anybody know of a guide that ranks reevaluates universities and colleges in terms of their accommodation of celiac disease or food allergies?   Thanks in advance for any leads! Valerie

thank you, i have been doing that the last few weeks and will continue to do so. I had not had my ttg iga checked since I was diagnosed 14 yrs ago so I am not sure if they ever dropped below the 15-20 range.    all my other labs are completely normal but I am concerned that this may be signs of refractor celiac or something else since I'm so careful with gluten-free diet

Around 9% of celiacs cannot tolerate any oats, even gluten-free oats. It might be worth eliminating them for a few months, then get re-tested.

I only eat certifed gluten-free products but a lot of which are processed. Could there be trace gluten in those or is that very unlikely?

For people with celiac disease hidden gluten in their diets is the main cause of elevated Tissue Transglutaminase IgA Antibodies (tTG-IgA), but there are other conditions, including cow's milk/casein intolerance, that can also cause this, and here is an article about the other possible causes (you may want to avoid oats):
