I want to start taking meal replacement/diet shakes. My Main issue is which ones are gluten free/celiac friendly??? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

My friend used to sell the Visalis (sp) stuff, she claimed it was gluten-free, I have no real idea though, you could check it out.

I do use a protein shake as a supplement after exercise it is called Body Fortress chocolate. It is gluten free, and tastes pretty good. I blend it with almond milk, and sometimes some strawberries.

Someone told me Body by Vi had gluten free. I haven't checked myself though. But I do have a friend who lost over 100 pounds on them. ( and diet and exercise). She only did one a day so obviously she did more.

Visalus, or Body by Vi, shakes say they are gluten free but the label also says that they're made in a facility that processes wheat. I have given up on them - some batches are ok and some made me sick. I've just heard about Sunwarrior protein shakes that are supposed to be allergen-free; no gluten, soy or dairy as it is made from rice. Maybe check them out online.

Thank you that’s really helpful, hopeful won’t have to have a biopsy.

That means the normal range (i.e. not celiac disease) would be a result less than 14.99.  Your result is WAY above that. Some gastroenterologists would diagnose that as celiac disease even without a confirming biopsy because it is more than ten times the top of the normal range.

Hi everyone. Back in 2022 I had blood work drawn for iga ext gliadin. Since then I’ve developed worse stomach issues and all other health issues. My doctor just said cut out gluten. He did no further testing. Please see my test results attached. I just need some direction cause I feel so ill and the stomach pain is becoming worse. Can this test show indications for other gastrointestinal diseases?

Thank you. These were the results TTG ABS NUMERICAL: > 250.0 U/mL [< 14.99]  Really don’t understand the results!

Clearly from what you've said the info on Dailymed is much more up to date than the other site, which hasn't been updated since 2017. The fact that some companies might be repackaging drugs does not mean the info on the ingredients is not correct.
