Well, it's for sure, add another food to the list of things I can't tolerate that gives me the same reaction as gluten: coconut milk, even the canned kind with no additives. The symptoms are specific and unmistakable. I think it's been causing problems longer than I realized. In a way that's good news, just to know that.

The bummer is it probably means I'll still be sick like I have been for another month. That's how long it takes to recover each time I've tried to add a new food. Now that the tears have passed... I'm looking at this as a positive because it's another piece of the puzzle solved. It helps a lot to know you all can relate.

You may want to watch out for palm (palm oil) as well. My DS had a coconut allergy and after a few issues we asked his allergist if palm oil may also be an issue. After checking into it he said yes, some people hi react to coconut also react to palm (same botanical family and all). So if you find just going rid of coconut isn't enough it maybe another thing to look at

If I'm not mistaken, coconut is very high in sals.

Yes, coconut is very high in salicylates and almonds are too.

Thank you that’s really helpful, hopeful won’t have to have a biopsy.

That means the normal range (i.e. not celiac disease) would be a result less than 14.99.  Your result is WAY above that. Some gastroenterologists would diagnose that as celiac disease even without a confirming biopsy because it is more than ten times the top of the normal range.

Hi everyone. Back in 2022 I had blood work drawn for iga ext gliadin. Since then I’ve developed worse stomach issues and all other health issues. My doctor just said cut out gluten. He did no further testing. Please see my test results attached. I just need some direction cause I feel so ill and the stomach pain is becoming worse. Can this test show indications for other gastrointestinal diseases?

Thank you. These were the results TTG ABS NUMERICAL: > 250.0 U/mL [< 14.99]  Really don’t understand the results!

Clearly from what you've said the info on Dailymed is much more up to date than the other site, which hasn't been updated since 2017. The fact that some companies might be repackaging drugs does not mean the info on the ingredients is not correct.
