  1. HELP!! I found a great looking recipe for butternut squash dumplings that were made w/ potatoes and nutmeg...anyone have this recipe!?!?!? Help!!

  3. OH MY GOSH!!! i am so happy about this...i alwasy walk right past them and sigh wishing i could buy them!!! YAY!!! im going to kroger tomorrow and stocking up!!! (after checking the label of course )
  4. i had a break bar too ....mmmm...sooooo good...then i almost choked on it when i read the fat count!! i think it was 14 grams...(i mean its close to a normal kit kat)
  5. yes it was on purpose...i have removed gluten from my diet for 2 months and though i think i feel better, i wanted to test myself (since i dont have a doctors dx) just to make sure it wasnt all in my head. dont worry...i only did it once to see if gluten was truly my trouble. now that i know it is...i wont stray.

  7. i went there last night and they were clueless. i asked the waitress if they had a menu or if anything could be prepared gluten free and she said no. I had a margarita and left....boooooo!!!!
  8. i got glutened badly when i was told i would be fine...and my boyfriend got a finger from a latex glove in his wrap...so im ok w/ keeping them off my safe list.

  10. Went to the Weber Grill rest. downtown...they have a huge gluten-free menu...i had ribs and garlic mashed potatoes.....YUMMMMMMMMMM and had no problems. it was great!!!!
  11. I also heard fennel tea is supposed to help...if you can get past the taste of it!!! what digestive enzymes is everyone taking?? there is a natural food store by me that carries lots of supplements...maybe i will check that out!!
  12. i had the cheese amy's gluten-free and I thought the crust was kinda yuck!!! it was cakey...is that just what i have to live w/ now???
  13. well my first big weekend of gluten-free we went camping so instead of drinking my typical bud light, i thought I would try out wine coolers. and I bought some gluten free oreo type cookies that we munched on in the boat. the next day I was miserable, I cant remember a time I felt so bad, and couldnt for the life of me figure out what the heck I ate......

I know...i was just wondering because I also just have a nervous stomach to begin w/...so sometimes I cant tell if I have been glutened or its just stress because I am trying to be tedious about what I eat and i can tell what the problem is if i eat a lot of something and then find out later that it was not gluten free. i dont think i am asking/coming off...

Ok...I wasnt really sure where to post this question: So not that i want to eat ANY gluten but my question is this, will I get the same horrible reaction whether I eat a huge plate of pasta vs. eating a chicken breast that was cooked after something w/ gluten??? ya know what I mean??? does a little gluten still equal a big reaction??
  16. Im going to chicago next weekend for a college reunion...any good resaraunts downtown that have gluten-free menus??? I know the Weber grill place does and I have been wanting to go there but I am hoping to give the other couple some other options to choose from. Thanks!!!

  19. ok...so i know this is like the opposite of what everyone says..but i am having great luck just going to Krogers. mine has a TON of gluten free products in the organic/health foods section(bread, pasta, cookies)...I am also eating a lot of protein bars for breakfast...most of them clearly label at the end of the ingredients if they contain certain allergens...

  22. So I have always bought Biolage because it works the best for my naturally curly, course hair...just bought a new bottle of shampoo and conditioner. Today I was taking my time in the shower and thought about reading the label.........."wheat germ oil"!!!!!!! are you kidding me?? $30 down the drain!!!!! any suggestions on some good shampoo/conditioner I can...

  25. I just had New Grist for the first time this weekend...i was nervous...but....IT WAS GOOD!!!! I mean...i think you have to like that microbrew taste (which i do)...but yay!!!!!! i can drink beer!!!!!
