  1. The exact same thing happens to me too. But espicially when I get glutened, except for they will float.
  2. Are 'Rolo's' gluten-free? If you forget what they are they're the milk chocolate candies with caramel on the inside. I love them so much, and was wondering if they were gluten-free. They look safe though, but I dont want to take my chances.
  3. Are Rosarita Vegetarian Refried Beans gluten-free?? They have distilled vinegar, but thats the only thing that I see thats suspicious.
  4. I've heard that regular & king-sized Snickers bars are gluten-free. But the fun-sized ones are NOT gluten-free. They're made in a different factory, which also processes wheat.
  5. Today, my family were going to go eat somewhere, so they told me to pick a restraunt that served gluten-free food. I heard that Chili's has a gluten-free menu, so I called them, and it rang and rang and then someone picked up. I asked if they had a gluten-free menu. They responded by laughing at me, saying there was no such thing as a gluten-free menu. But...
  6. I've ate dried mango, apricots, apples, and pineapples and I've been fine. But havent ate the banana chips. Probably is though, but you might want to double check.

  9. I dont want to do the bioposy, but my mom and doctor is making me. I feel 100% better eating gluten-free, so I know that I have celiac disease, and my aunt also has it. But my mom and the doctor are making me, so I really have no choice since i'm only 14. But the doctor told me to just eat one slice of wheat bread everyday for a week before the bioposy, so...
  10. Hi! I have to have a bioposy done in December, and I have to eat a lot of gluten before it, because I've already been gluten-free for awhile. I thought I'd try Gluten-ease to help me from being miserably sick everyday. So does anyone have any info on it? Like how much is it, does it really help, what is their web address, etc.! thank you so much! ...
  11. I'm using Crest with no problems. But I might have had a reaction to Aquafresh. But now it might just be the vitamins I'm talking (Centrum mulitvitamin, anyone know if they are gluten-free?), so now I don't know if it was the toothpaste or the vitamins or both.
  12. Thank you everyone! All these ideas were very helpful!! And now I have some new favorite meals!
  13. Hi! I've been eatin gluten-free for about 6 months now. I've been eating alot of the same stuff lately. (Hormel turkey on gluten free bread, rice pasta w/ classico sauce, turkey dogs on gluten-free bread, etc.) I was just hoping some of you would have some quick meal ideas, and what do you normally get at the grocery store? ...I've also been doing the gluten...
  14. When I went to the dentist they checked the ingredients for me. There was only one suspicious thing...it said Contains a thickener. And gluten is often used for a thickener. So they just cleaned my teeth with Crest, which is gluten-free.
  15. I take Centrum's multivitamin and Nature Made's B-Complex, and I was wondering if they contained any gluten. Thanks!

I called the Carls jr. that i ate at and asked if they fry their frenchfries in the same oil as the fried zuchinni and chicken nuggets, and they said that they fry it in a seperate vat of oil. I havent had any problems yet, and its been 3 hrs...
  19. Hey, I'm 14 and I'm a sophomore, I have you tried KinnicKinnick (sp?) bread. It looks like regular bread, and its very good! I usually make a turkey sandwich with that, with Hormel turkey, because it says clearly on the package that the turkey meat is gluten-free. And its in almost any grocery store! Just buy a couple cold packs and put one in there, that...
  20. Wow! Thats so awesome!! I hope that it truly works! But it WOULD take awhile for it to come to America because the FDA (or something like that) would have to test it and approve it. But that is so exciting!
  21. Yeah, I would eat a huge meal, then 30 mins.-1 hr. later, I'd be hungry again. So'd eat, and etc. People were always saying "You eat so much, but you never gain weight! You're so lucky!" But it was actually the FOOD that was making me sick. Who ever knew? lol. I'm 5'7" and my lowest weight was about 100 lbs.
  22. K, thank you! I cant die from them can I? Because everyone is sleeping, and they feel really weird. I've never gotten them before.
  23. Hi. I'm 14 yrs. old, and I've been doing great on the glute-free diet for about 4 months after being diagnosed with celiac disease. I was laying in bed today, watching tv, and browsing around on my computer. All of a sudden, my heart felt weird, and it would have like a big thump, then a tiny thump. But then it'd be normal...then a couple mins. later the...
  24. I bought that magazine--having no idea about the Celiac article! I thought it was great --------------------------------------------- Same here, my grandma always gives our family a stack of magazines...and that happened to be one of them!
  25. It's in the August 2006 'Good Housekeeping'. A lady named Alice Bast, was sick for seven years and went through 20 doctors, and not a single one of them diagnosed her. I think it was her veterinarian (sp?) friend who said that she might have it. She had also had 3 miscarriages from it. It's a great article! I'll try to find it on the web. I thought it was...
