    all the food she takes is gluten free because she takes snacks and hides them under her bed, I totally gutted her room the other day so is she hides something I will find it.     thanks everyone. She and nicole have a follow up with the gi dr on the 19th to redo blood work. And they have another appt on the 21st for food allergy testing. Alivia's should be interesting because not always but often after she eats anything she breaks out in a rash. celina

    My mother inlaw was talking with my husband and he is also convinced from her that alivia who is 7 years old may have a tapeworm. I think they are way over reacting. She eats ALOT cannot usually satisfy her she is still losing weight. She takes food at night up to her room and hides the evidence under her bed. She does this everynight and she is on a sleep...

    Nicole is very constipated again. I don't know what else to give her to help her go. I have given her miralax yesterday and 3 cups of hot cocoa and nothing. Any other food thoughts? sometimes the prune juice help but not much if any. thanks

    I am very happy to hear that although she is startin another cold now since this morning. Hopefully it will just stay a cold and just involve a runny nose and not go to her chest. But if it does her asthma dr gave me prednisone to use just incase it comes back. But I would call her fist before giving it to her. This is her now 4th cold hopefully this one...

    We were dealing with constipation again this morning I gave her her miralax and she went but she hasn't been eating much the last week or so. I hope she isn't getting another bug. but is he on miralax? I haven't had to use it in a while but had to today. She was really straining. I hope he goes soon for you have you tried a stool softener?     when nicole went in for her scope they found she also has gastritis and esophagitis also she is on prevacid now and doing great with it. When she woke up they just offered her a popsicle because they dont really want them to eat alot or heavy for a while. Maybe they figure since you don't know yet what does it matter. But it does matter especially if it hurts...

    That is strange. But I have tried her off dairy for a while and she still got sick. But hopefully the dr we see next month will have some answers. She had some Blood work done before that showed one of her immunoglobulins (part of the immune system was very low) normal is at least 1.0 and her's was <0.2 thanks celina

    Her gastro emailed me back and said I should speak with her pediatrician about the work up for this. But her ped didn't even know much about celiac I doubt he has kids with cf or even know the testing for it. He is a small practice not a chain. How would I ask something like this to him and do I ask a nurse,what do I say to get an appt or ask on the phone...

    I did do the kiss test and she does taste salty. I emailed the ped to see what he thinks, I am waitinf to hear back. Thanks for all the info everyone.

    up until she was about 1 yr old she was always in the 85-90%. then she basically stopped eating and went down from there she is skinny but sometimes her belly still get's bloated. but her arms,legs etc. are bony. but she should start gaining weight soon. celina

    I haven't seen any in my daughters but in my 3 yr old within the last 2 months how much she is getting bad cold that go to her chest for 2 weeks then go away for 1 week and come back. She is also on pulmicort and albuterol in a neb. Maybe the throat clearing is alot of mucus from the asthma or post nasal drip my older daughter has this and caused her to...

    I am still having trouble with nicole's weight gain she has only gained a very little maybe a pound she has been gluten-free for 6-7 months now and eating better than before gluten-free. she is still strugglind between the 25-32nd%. she is getting a little bit taller. She is also still on pediasure (gluten-free) maybe 2 X day.

    I am still trying to figure out why nicole always gets a runny nose at first then always sinks into her chest and then she get's even more sick from gagging on all the mucus and it takes 2 wekks to get a bit better then about a week after that usually it comes back and does the same thing.     I found a sit a while ago but cannot now. It has the products that contain gluten in them,not food just regualr products not food. Thanks if anyone knows Celina
