    Hey minimommy! My husband made some a few weeks ago with Mary's Gone Crackers. He crushed them up in a bag, draped the chicken through eggs and then coated them in the cracker crumbs. It's not exactly the same as Southern fried chicken but it was tasty!

    I recently ate at Bertucci's in Beverly, MA for the second time. The first time was fine. This time, I ordered a Caesar salad off the gluten-free menu and it had a crouton in it. Luckily, I saw it before I bit in and told the waitress and the manager and they replaced my salad immediately (and took it off the bill)but I'm lucky I saw it. Just be aware...

    It's definitely doable. The hardest time I had was with grooming because of all the dust/dirt. I just kept my mouth closed and wore gloves. When I was done grooming and riding, I took the gloves off. I never had a problem. Just make sure she understands it's really important not to put her hands in her mouth and to wash them after. Riding is FUN!

    My husband and I went to the Cape this weekend for a quick get away and I had two really good experiences. We had stayed at the Lamb and the Lion Inn in Barnstable on Rte 6A before (it's such a cool inn- great rooms with gas stove fireplaces around a courtyard with a pool and year-round hot tub) but this time I let them know I was gluten-free.     When I was in college, I was not gluten-free. But I taught/attended a university once gluten-free. The most important suggestion I would make is that he make an appt to met with the head of Dining Services. I believe that celiac does fall under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and that universities must, in some way, accommodate it. I know some...

    Did someone mention horses? I love those Clydesdales! I have been MIA- tough week. My BIL's dad passed away (fairly quickly- diagnosed with pancreatic and liver cancer right before Christmas) and it's my mom's birthday tomorrow. My whole family is pretty down. But alas, this too shall pass.... Need to make others laugh so......let's see. Hmmm....

    I absolutely will. It's so much worse when it's a child. My BIL's dad has taken a turn for the worse so they now think it's only a matter of days. He was just diagnosed before Christmas. BLECH! But Raychelle's right- we need some giggles. So Open Original Shared Link NEVER fails to crack me up!
