    ARCHIVED Rash..dh?

    Ive been gluten-free for 2 years now with no problem. 2 months ago i was accidently glutened and i broke out with a horrible rash on my neck, behind my ears and on my sclap line. It is read and it looks like horrible dry skin..Is it DH? How do I get rid of it? HELP PLEASE!!

  5. Thank you!! Sooooo...I just called the company and they told me that the only ingredient that a person with Celiac needs to be concerned about is the cornstarch gluten. I really don't know what that means because I thought cornstarch was gluten-free. I tried to look up cornstarch gluten online but couldn't find it...any ideas? Gwe

  10. Hello All! I have changed my shampoo to one that is gluten-free. I am now developing a dry, flaky, scalp! I have NEVER had this problem before and was wondering if it is an effect of Celiac or just my shampoo. If it is just the shampoo can any of you reccommend any good brands that work for you?   11. Hello All! I have a question about these lotions. I received a TON for Christmas and looked at the label this morning and one of the ingredients is oats (there is some fancy word for it which I cannot remember). Anyway...is it OK to use these lotions? Thanks! Gwen
  12. I made the buns today and they are great! I am going to make an egg salad sandwhich and take it to work on Monday!!!! They were so EASY to make and they taste good too! I am not a huge cottage cheese fan either and I don't taste it at all in the buns!! Thank you so much for this recipe! Gwen
  13. I am making these buns over the weekend and I bought the cottage cheese today at Walmart. It was the Walmart brand (Great Value) and it says Gluten Free on the container. It was the lowfat kind in a pink container. It also contains Guar Gum and Locust Bean Gum...hope this helps! Gwen
  14. Tonight I am going out to eat for the first time since I have been gluten-free. I am going to the Outback Steakhouse. I know they have a gluten-free menu and I have viewed it online. My question is....When I get there do I need to ask for a gluten-free menu or are those items on their website naturally gluten-free? Any help would be great! Thanks

    ARCHIVED Coffee

    The thought of drinking coffee or even tea is gross to me. I used to drink coffee everyday and ever since I started having symptoms of celiac I haven't been able to drink it. I now drink Jamba Juice or if I go to Starbucks I order the fruit frap. (the tagerine is good) As far as the Halls cough drops, I read on a list that was given to me on this site that...

    ARCHIVED Nausea?

    Nausea was my only symptom as well and I have been gluten-free for about 3 weeks now. I can go for 5 days feeling fine and then it hits me again. I've heard from all the nice people on this site that it is normal and it may just take a while to heal. You should check EVERYTHING and make sure their is no gluten in it.     ARCHIVED Symptoms

    I take promethazine too! I try not to take it unless I have to because it makes me so tired!!! I am gluten-free (i think) and now I only get nauseaus about every other day. I'm hoping in a couple of weeks I won't have to take it anymore. Do you still take it? Thanks for the response...its nice to know someone else has the same symptoms as me! newg

    I had a negative blood test but my endoscopy was positive (my small intestine was has damage) so my doctor told me I have Celiac Disease. The ONLY symptom I have is feeling nauseous and since I have stopped eating gluten and wheat I have been feeling better but I still feel nauseous about half the time. Is this normal....how long does it usually take to feel...

  25. I take folic acid, vitamin C, Calcium, and a multivitamin each day. Could these be bad for a gluten free diet? If so, does anyone have a list of gluten-free brands of vitamins I can find at my local grocery store?
