  1. You could always order stuff online.
  2. Well, I can happily say that no poo crimes have resulted from my coffee indulgence yesterday! Fortunately for Mimmsy, I won't need to buy a laptop so I can keep up from the potty.....
  3. Um, if the coffee hits me, I won't be phunny-postin, I'll be toilet-sittin. I oughta get a laptop!
  4. Wish me luck- I'm testing coffee, it's been probly a 1/2 to a whole year by now. My boyfriend pestered me off daily coffee, quit for a while, thereafter I couldn't have none, not even decaf. So I needed a boost n I'm gonna be home all day, why not try? I put milk and Irish creme flavoring in it..... Mmmmmmmm...... coffeee...... Gess- this helps me...
  5. Also, if you're boiling and then baking, you need to underdo it by 3-5 min than the directed time because it will cook more in the oven. My favorite mac n cheese is to bake dry pasta with cheese on top and lots of milk poured over.
  6. A sculpture of a dead armadillo?!?!?
  7. Patttti, I find myself finally unable to refrain from asking: Who is the reclining statue in your avatar?
  8. Patee, I'm so sorry! Was he just old? I've been meaning to ask you, how did you come to name him Allo?
  9. I've decided my gut has multiple personalities. I'll refrain from describing them all.
  10. No need to be sorry. I think you handled yourself very well, and sensibly, and no detriment to you if others aren't able to do the same. Good luck with your eye surgery! Edited to say: I've always wanted to do jury duty, too, but I always call the night before and I don't have to go in. I think it'd be interesting.
  11. One of us can mail you the season when it comes out on DVD.
  12. Uh-oh.... did you lose yer dairy? I made meatloaf last night, easy dairy free!
  13. HAHAHAHAAA!!!!! My mother showed me this video yesterday. Have you seen the Greek Irish dancers? Stavros Flatley? Bloody HEE-LARIOUS!
  14. Just dropped 200$ at Tj's on groceries. No biggie, I don't go often so gotta stock up, but it was a HERCULEAN effort getting all that crap in here..... Whew...... Patee, when I'm being lazy I just put alot of garlicpowder in the taters once mashed. When feeling ambitious, I slow-saute a great deal of finely chopped garlic in a great deal of butter...
  15. HAHAHAHAHAHAAAAA!!! Well, I'm 25, so my 'youngest' guy would be 19. Ew. And I had cheesy pasta last night that didn't turn out so great. Tonite I will be making meatloaf n mashed garlic tatoes and green beans, I think. Maybe biscuits too. Lisa's right, she did claim me first. Lisa, need a recipe for chicken noodle soup?!?! Maybe I'll...
  16. To answer your question: Yes, these small amounts can prevent your body from healing. There is no 'least' amount of gluten a Celiac can ingest without damage. Having a lack of digestive reactions doesn't mean you aren't doing damage. Basically, over the top is the only way to do this diet properly. If you have cross contamination from your toaster every morning...
  17. I would say that there is a point at which you must simply say no. Noone can force food down your throat. I learned early that it is far better to go without than to eat gluten. This may trigger more severe behavior on his part, but I say refuse to argue, and refuse to eat anything not safe for you. Only you can protect your health. And where's your mother...
  18. When I was a kid, we'd take those and split the fat part in half and put them on our noses. We just called em helicopters.
  19. As previously stated, we have a master baker gluten-free bakery about 15 min away, right near where le lawnmower man works actually, so we get to has freshbaked stuffs. I might try the starbucks thing some time, but ain't nothin gonna beat this lady's cake.
  20. It looks like a mold inhibitor: Open Original Shared Link That's somehow grown by bacteria or soemthing? Sounds like it's not a gluten problem, but more likely your personal unpleasant reaction to a chemical. I get a bit of queasy from cheese with this in it if I eat a lot. Definitely not gluten though. I would doublecheck the cheeses you were eating...
  21. Pffft, not a'tall. I'm not very good at expressing certain things in type sometimes, I was just messin. So I'm the royal cook now huh Mimmsy? You want I should mail you a omelet? Maybe some home fries?
  22. I know! I was egotistically hoping for a reaction of "NO NO, KEEP IT COMING!!!" Cooking is the one art form I've even come close to excelling at, I'll take my affirmation wherever I can get it.
