  1. I'm the queen of sinus infections unfortunately. I have very bad allergies--hence the screen name. If you think the smell is originating from your nose and sinus, then it likely is a sinus infection.
  2. Thanks all. So to recap, if they did indeed biopsy for Celiac and it is positive, then that's it, I have my answer. But if they biopsied and it is negative, I should still push ahead and demand the blood tests? Obviously, if all they did was look for bacteria I will demand the blood testing. I have tried asking them what they biopsied for, and I can...
  3. Both iron and zinc in vitamins commonly cause nausea even in people without celiac or other GI troubles. Also, iodine can cause bad reactions for some people.
  4. Hi I posted here over a week ago with my whole sob story--New Here and Overwhelmed. To make a long story short, I've been running on empty for almost 10 years now. Other things like rheumatoid arthritis were compelling, and I wanted to be tested for them, but I never felt they were a perfect fit of my symptoms even before the tests were negative. But like you, looking back on my whole life, celiac disease...
  7. Thank you so much, both of you. happygirl, I will definitely bring this list with me. Thank you for providing it. gfgypsyqueen, I wholeheartedly agree with you, I'm praying they biopsied specifically for celiac and not just for h. pylori and other bacteria. From reading posts here, it sounds like at least 5 samples need to be taken. My husband said...
  8. Hi, I just discovered this forum yesterday. I am very concerned I may be celiac. I have been struggling with extreme fatigue for over 8 years. Here is my history, I'll try to be brief. As a kid, I always had allergies, and was always very skinny,to the point doctors were concerned. I was a very picky eater as a kid. One pediatrician told me mom...
