    Hello Everyone!!! Today's the big day!! Zoning Board meets tonight. All weekend has been spent getting ready for tonight's presentation (I'm mostly moral support and proofreader).     I started thinking about this . . . I think maybe we are both reacting to the phrase "lance her ear drum". When Carollyn was talking about tubes for the ears, it made be think a little differently. I know they put tubes in the ears of kids with fluid build up to keep them from getting a lot of ear infections. Tubes will fall out by themselves and the eardrums...

    Both of my kids have had their tonsils and adenoids taken out. My daughter's was at the age of 3. She snored and had sleep apnea. She would stop breathing. I was more than happy to have her tonsils taken out. The sleep apnea completely stopped afterwards. My son's tonsils were taken out because of his growth issues. His tonsils were HUGE but he did...

    This is what I use . . . all of them are for recipes and not for eating as soup: Cream of Mushroom . . . I use Progresso's Creamy Mushroom.     Yep, that's the one. I couldn't finish it. Probably half the book club couldn't finish it. Only one person from our club had anything positive to say about it (she related to the divorce) but the rest of us thoroughly enjoyed bashing the author and her book.

    OK . . . I'll be reading along, too . . . I can always use a few new ideas. Snacks here are string cheese, yogurt, pretzels, Florida's Natural fruit nuggets, Clif Kid's twisted fruit, Glutino crackers (the ones that look like ritz) w/cream cheese or peanut butter, and homemade (gluten-free) chex mix . . . along with some not so healthy stuff.     I'm making one of her recipes for tonight . . . Cream Cheese Chicken (May 23rd Recipe). I think it looks fabulous!! The kids will probably turn their noses up at it because they've never "seen" it before. Might have a chance since there are no visible vegetables.
