  1. . . . or slimming clubs . . . Patti's HMO's - Emily's Diaries - Follow-up from the pedGI (then I won't drag this thread down any further) . . . He would like to scope her again. He said that's what it says to do in his GI handbook . I actually quite like him. He has a decent sense of humor and he appears to listen to me...
  2. AHA!!! I' thinkin' like Patti!!!
  3. She's been gluten free for 10 months. Her blood test at the 6 month mark was excellent, couldn't ask for better. She was still having breakthrough acid reflux at that time so I didn't think it was cc. I started a thread (and got no answer to the question) asking if you were being cc'd (say on an every two-week basis) would it show up in a tTG reading....
  4. I think you have to drink the absinthe to "see" the phaeries. Yes, this is about my trouble-maker . . . I'm doing everything I can to keep the dairy. I've got her on probiotics and I'm treating her as if she is lactose intolerant. No MSG. Really trying to cut the artificial dyes. Took her off of erythromycin (which I never thought she...
  5. GAHHH!!!! What does it mean when you are doing something totally unrelated to this board and it pops into your head how you should have worded a post!!??!! This is what I meant to say: I admit that I did once school a minnow!!! Here's another serious question . . . are your symptoms for consuming dairy the same as gluten? how 'bout...
  6. Yes, I will admit that I did once train a minnow . . . Somehow, I thought the Grouper was going to be a Groper.
  7. Muzz, I don't believe you got an answer to this question . . . although my answer will be vague . . . Some people don't have a problem with the dairy. Some people have a short term problem with the lactose. Some people have a short term problem with the dairy (can go back on after 6mos - couple of years). Some people have a long term/permanent problem...
  8. Here's an off-topic question (yes, I consider it off-topic since it is a serious question): To those who are or have ever been dairy free . . . Is goat chees OK or not?
  9. . . . and don't forget about the leeches.
  10. OMGAWWWWDDD!!!!! I think I dated him!! No actually twas a "group" night out thing . . . he offered to give me a ride there . . . 'bout have way through the night I realized "OH SH!T, I'm on a date" . . . but the attempted goodnight kiss . . . sounds very familiar . . . still makes me shudder. Was his name Frank?
  11. So . . . if I understand this correctly, your superbowl snacks were a bag of miniature marshmallows?? Not traditional football fare? What do you have for Thanksgiving? Tacos? Chocolate Chips? Crackers? Yes, I thought with all the new blood coming in we would have to change how long a queen/king were to remain enthroned. I thought we would...
  12. Is it too late for me to make a prediction? I have a darn good guess ready!! Go Giants!!
  13. I've wondered this, too. But it makes for expensive experiments, doesn't it, when you experiment with gluten-free flours? Surely, a Bette Hagman or Annalise Roberts has tried this . . . we just don't know what happened.
  14. We use Miralax in this house. My daughter was on it for quite some time as she has constipation tendancies.
  15. Janet is Pleased!!! . . . I root for two teams. The Colts and whoever is playing the Patriots. Plus, you gotta love that back-to-back Manning family win. Some genes, huh?
  16. Patti - Hope you got some good stuff along with your Starbucks. I have some gift cards that have started whispering my name. That's like free shopping . . . if I could only stop at the value of the card! Emily - Picture frames . . . . . . they usually are a much nicer picture than those of our own friends and relatives. Hair always looks nice. ...
  17. But doesn't this guarantee that you are NOT cooking supper tonight?? Emily!!!!!????? Laminate!!!!! You've been holding back! Shame on you!!
  18. Happy Birthday Colleen . . . Here's your Open Original Shared Link! And here's another one that cracks me up . . . apparently those have a lot of spare time.
  19. BAHHHHH!!!!!!! Six more weeks . . . at least for the Open Original Shared Link. We have a local groundhog (not nearly as famous as Phil) but I'm hopin' he's got a different prediction for our local weather.
  20. Thanks for greasin' the wheels . . . the Parkay/Parquet went right by me. You really creamed me on that last bit with that whole spectrum of woodly items. You did really gouda.
  21. HOLY CRAP YOU'RE GOOD!!! UNCLE! . . . for now. . . but not Emily's
  22. OK, I'm back . . . had to fix pizza with my daughter. Curious thing . . . she hated pizza before for the Celiac diagnosis. Now she loves it. Actually requests it (gluten-free, of course). She nailed him. He screwed up. He was finished. He was familiar with the drill so he flew the coop. He could hear her cackling as he headed out to get lathed...
  23. Damn!!!! I have to make supper! I'll be back later! Emily - if I was a newbie, I'd take advice from you . . . you look so knowledgable with glasses and a pipe!!!! However, now that I know you, it's a different story.
  24. Don't forget that the cock was crowin'!!! It was plane to see that he needed to leaf before she kicked his ash . . . but oh how he pined.
