  1. Hell, we'll be draggin' our own commodes around with us.
  2. . . . and we'll still be talking "poop".
  3. You're on . . . I'm sure we'll all still be posting on this forum . . . I'll PM you when it's time to pick a joint. Same kind of ratio as . . . hmmm . . . here?
  4. We are going through something similar with my daughter. Prevacid is suppose to take two weeks to kick in. Right now, I took my daughter off of the long term antibiotic that she was on for gastroparesis (she has no problem with her appetite and is gaining weight so I see no reason to still be on this). Since she was on it for a long time, I have started...
  5. During my first pregnancy, I wore several men's shirts instead of maternity shirts. One of the guys I worked with complimented me on one in particular. I told him it was a men's shirt to which he stood up and proclaimed "I call dibs on Janet's shirt when she's done being pregnant!"
  6. STREAKING??!!!?? Whilst At Work??!!?? We'll if your trying to keep a low profile while checking the silly thread, I certainly wouldn't do it nekkid!!
  7. Obviously a hoverer with poor aim . . . or perhaps in mid-hover, the purse she was balancing on her head started to slide. In an effort to keep her purse from hitting the floor, she lost sight of her target . . . so to speak. I'm totally with Nikki on this one.
  8. My daughter's favorite . . . peanut butter on a rice cake. My son eat's cheese sticks and then dips carrots in his peanut butter (that's how I like my carrots, too ) Salad with some grilled chicken on it. Tuna salad/Chicken salad/Egg salad - dipped up with corn chips (tostitos or fritos) All fresh fruits and veggies are good.
  9. Amanda, can Sarah borrow your shirt?
  10. Susie, seeing how women, in general, outlive their husbands, we're all pretty much dying alone . . . that's why I have made arrangements to be committed to live in the same mental old age facility as my best friend. That way we can keep each other company and complain to each other about how our children never call and that the food taste like crap.
  11. Oh . . . I think those are elephant ears, here. . . . does it start out deep fried?
  12. No Gluten? or No Reaction? . . . There's a difference, you know.
  13. HOLY COW!!!! I totally missed that hint . . . and TOM, of all people firgured it out!!! (no offense, Tom, just figured it would be a gal). Congratulations, Sarah!!!!
  14. Hey Sarah . . . You might want to look into Genisoy Chunky Peanut Butter Fudge or Creamy Peanut Yogurt Bars. We haven't had them in awhile so you may want to double check on the barley (I know they are wheat free). Open Original Shared Link We found them at Krogers and Wal-Mart (I think). Here's an old thread about protein bars. Looks...
  15. No, it's a "depends" . . . guess maybe you're not that brain foggy It' just an indication of how much gluten it took to cause damage (in that particular study). So it really depends on how much gluten was ingested. I would also say that many people on this forum will have gluten reactions to a fraction of what that study indicates. What I don't...
  16. One of the companies that I worked for . . . way back when . . . had a real practical joker on staff. There were a total of about 12 of us in my department. Our offices and lab were a bit segregated from the rest of the place and we had one coed bathroom. (I prefered to walk downstairs to get to the designated women's restroom). Anyway, our joker "decorated...
  17. Sarah, where have you been? Did you go to Big Sur with Susie and Annie?
  18. I would try the diet. You have to do all the research, shopping and cooking for your daughter, anyway. I don't want to make light of that . . . that will entail a lot of work in the beginning. However, for you to go gluten-free at the same time won't be that much additional effort.
  19. From the frequently asked questions area of celiac.com: https://www.celiac.com/articles/38/1/How-mu...liac/Page1.html
  20. I would have to concur . . . use the jellow jigglers recipe. We always do that at Halloween for a neighborhood party and all the kids (toddlers to teens) hit the jigglers before the cookies and rice crispy treats.
  21. It could mean there is some hidden gluten lurking somewhere . . . old can opener, old chapstick . . . could be in a medication/vitamin . . . could be in a toiletry. It could also mean that you are still healing. What was your beginning value? What is that value now? For some, it takes a while for the value to return to normal levels. If your value...
  22. Did you see that???!!!!?? Peter couldn't just let ME be right!!!! He had to go and be MORE right than ME!!!!
  23. Yesssss . . . I like me pints, too.
  24. Exactlyt!!!! Only have to remember two points: 0oC = 32oF 100oC = 212oF (That's freezing and boiling pts of water for all you nonMathS types). *giggle giggle* What Fun!
  25. Hmmmm, guess we can't be writen' smack about Annie, now, can we? (And by "we", I mean YOU!!)
