    Could be . . . it's thought to be a cross between a turnip and wild cabbage . . . tis also called a yellow turnip or a swede. We roasted them with olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, salt and pepper. Needs seasoning otherwise too bland . . . sweeter than a potato but not a sweet potato . . . really hard and has to cook longer than potatos but end...

    After a week of faxing information request/permission forms back and forth between three different doctors offices and one lab . . . we have an appointment with Cincinnati Children's Hospital . . . unfortunately, it' not until May but we'll wait.

    I have given my daughter's teacher a bag of safe snacks to keep at school (tootsie pops, tootsie rolls, smarties, lunch size fritos, etc) so that when something gets passed out at school, she has something that she can get that's safe. The school nurse is great about informing me when there are school-wide events that involve food like the holiday parties...

    Depending on what you are using them for . . . a cheaper alternative to the Glutino is crushed Corn or Rice Chex if you can toss them with some butter and seasonings (onion powder, salt, garlic powder, Italian spices, etc)

    Depending on what you are using the bisquick for, you might try Pamela's Baking and Pancake Mix. They have a recipe for Bisquick-type biscuits. I've used it as a direct replacement for a cheeseburger pie recipe and thought it worked pretty well. It has xanthan and baking powder and salt, etc already in it . . . like the bisquick. There are also hints...

    Just picked up a winter's worth of dog poo out of the back yard . . . a least it wasnt' too heavy . . . it was mostly dehydrated . . . TMI??. Jo-Dog helped by running around and barking at leaves!!
