  8. Verdict . . . gastroparesis . . . again . . . Skeeter was diagnosed with this when she was first diagnosed with Celiac disease and after about 10 months gluten free, it appeared to be resolved. Original doc (that I loved) thought it was caused by the Celiac disease. This new doc (because the doc I loved moved to Canada . . . curse you Canadians for stealing...
  9. Helloooooooo?????? Where is everyone???? Well, Skeeter has her GI appt today. I figure we won't have any answers for a while. This will just be the appt to start testing for certain things. I'm leaning towards an allergy at this point . . . although I don't know what it's an allergy of . . . but benedryl seemed to make her stop regurgitating...
  10. Be careful about peanut allergies with this one . . . don't know why, but the Cinnamon & Chocolate Chex (don't know about strawberry 'cause we don't eat that one) have peanut flour in them. Kix and the Honey Kix would also work. I think the Berry Kix is OK, too (check the label). One of the big hits at the preschool I work at is minimarshmallows...

  17. Didja miss this one, Em . . . or were you looking for additional info? The IEP is on it's way. There was concern that his grades aren't "bad enough" and how that was going to be addressed so that the review board will pass it. (Smackl's getting decent grades because hubby and I spend 1 to 2 hours every night working with him, reviewing and having him correct...

  19. Quite honestly, immediate relatives should be screened for Celiac due to it's hereditary nature. When my daughter was diagnosed, my son, husband and I had the blood test done (per the recommendation of the GI). I would start there. Then, if your son's test comes back negative, you can approach the doctor about a trial diet. Is your doctor aware of your...
  20. table knife? syringe? tampon? orange jug of pee?
  21. Yeah . . . I really don't think there is gluten in the shampoo/conditioner. Actually, I was kind of hoping there was and then problem solved . . . but I do know you shouldn't ingest tea tree oil and it's hard to say if she is or not. She's in charge of her own baths/showers now. But the timing of everything yesterday was enlightening. Had my meeting...
  22. . . . in other news. I think I may have found what Skeeter is reacting to. I don't think it's gluten - the label is pretty well written but I'm verifying with the company (by email) as we speak. I switched her to a different shampoo with tea tree oil when she brought the lice home (supposedly lice don't like tea tree oil). She uses it once a week. The...
  23. . . . I think Uncle Ray would like that one. Neck was feeling almost all better yesterday . . . and a cough was picking up steam. I'm thinking now that this thing is just an extra slow moving virus. GO COLTS!!!!!
