    Might I suggest that next time you post one stanza at a time . . . . . . and I'm doing OK . . . 2nd day no pain relievers and it's not too bad (only one eyeball is in pain and the sinuses on that side are burning a bit. Yes, Patti, I have been thinking about a Netti pot. One of the ladies I work with swears by it also.

    Yep . . . you are going to just have to try it to find out. We were told to wait at least 6 months and to make sure it was gluten-free oatmeal by my daughter's GI. Items that you can take with you: yogurt hard boiled eggs somebody just posted a recipe for a nutrigrain type bar but I haven't tried it (and it may have called for oats, don't remember...

    Thanks for the input . . . I think the GP did say "CT scan" but I can't be sure at this point. It's good to have the info if it comes to that. I knew about the rebound thing so that's why I only do a dose or two of the Advil a day and try to skip days (although I don't know if that's enough to avoid the rebound effect.)     It started out mainly as teeth/jaw pain so I went to the dentist. He said I was clenching/grinding (which I believe I was). He ground on my teeth (to fix my bite), he ground on my mouth guard (that I was suppose to be wearing at night but hadn't been and am wearing faithfully now).
