  1. Yes, you were there Em. I saw you . . . even though Patti did nae see me either. We were both standing in line for the port-o-let.
  2. Hmmmmmmm . . . <stroking me chin hairs> . . . perhaps I should test out this theory and just wander around nekkid for the next 48 hours or so . . .
  3. Holy Smores, Lisa!! Well, that is a good sign . . . so glad he is doing better. Same old news here . . . headache . . . GP has diagnosed me with a sinus infection and put me on a different antibiotic which I started yesterday. Symptoms are worse today . . . what does that mean? Anyways, if this doesn't work, they're gonna scan...
  4. Hey purple, I hope it is just pink-eye but like Tiffany said, talk to your vet. I thought my dog had pink-eye. Actually, the vet initially thought so too, but as soon as the antibiotics were done, it came right back. It ended up she has glaucoma. Good Luck!
  5. Yer av is a pic of you and Sam dining out . . . no worries, I won't tell Tel Em's wee shindig
  6. Monday is a day off, hubby will be at work, and I have a little cash to spend .....YAY!!!! ...... oh....wait.....and I'll have two chidlins wif me....nevermind
  7. You know, my favourite part of everyone using their samatars is when someone starts a thread with "What's with that grey statue guy everywhere?"
  8. Hey Psillies, got no psilly but Bev has me covered. I have given up on the dentist . . . or maybe he's given up on me. Going to the doc on Friday. Yesterday was the worst day (pain-wise) in a long time. Today is probably the best. I figure by the time I go to the doc I should be completely symptom-free!!! . . . doesn't it always work that way?...
  9. My apologies. I stand corrected.
  10. Most do. If you are in the US, Lea & Perrins is gluten free.
  11. I already told you!!! . . . Ice Age!!! I see you Bunnie!!!! Where in he!! have you been???
  12. The Lays Stax are run on a dedicated line.
  13. Acid Reflux was my daughter's main sympton. It got better but did not go away with medication which sent us to the pedGI which led fairly quickly and suprisingly to a Celiac diagnosis. We just got lucky that the doctor screened her with a blood test which was positive. I know it wasn't even on his top three possibilities list, it's just an office policy...
  14. Yeah . . . I thought he looked familiar . . .
  15. Had a three year old tell me at school the other day that he thought an ice age was starting!!! I believe Paul's been here before . . . I'll go dig him up . . . does the phrase anal seepage ring a bell with anyone??
  16. It would also be easy to test out . . . just toast your bread under the broiler and see if you notice an improvement.
  17. Lundberg rice cakes are gluten free and they have lots of flavors (I just checked and they have a cinnamon toast one). I think they run a little "thick" for my taste. We actually switched to corn thins (because they are so thin) but our rice cakes (and now corn thins) are used primarily to hold peanut butter
  18. I don't usually do this . . . but I'm going to have to ask for some sort of documentation on that one. I have never seen a number associated with rice intolerance and I would certainly say it is a much much smaller number than 40% although I wouldn't care to hazard a guess as to what it was. With a little brief googling, I could find no number. Are...
  19. Jyess, didja work at the 'smallish company'?
  20. Here's a list of dairy products with their lactose values . . . I recommend that you don't sit down and eat a cup of unreconstituted powdered milk. Open Original Shared Link
  21. When my daughter had her endoscopy, we actually got test results that showed she was making lactase. It was below the desired level but not too bad. We bought the lactaid (type) milk and lactaid chewables for occassions when she consumed a lot of dairy in one sitting. If it was just a little cheese or just a little yogurt we didn't bother with the chewable...
  22. Well, the kids had school today . . . not even a delay. Smakl was sooooo disappointed he almost teared up at breakfast. Then to make matters worse, the kids weren't even allowed out to play in the snow at recess (we really don't get too many good snowfalls) because 3/4 of the kids didn't wear(or bring) hats/gloves (boots aren't required to go out but you...
  23. I saw that episode, Neroli, and I loved it!! But I think they should really be challenged and have all those restrictions . . . PLUS . . . an 8-year old would eat it!!! By the way, Art Smith was (a probably still is) Oprah Winfrey's personal chef. I would love to know how he made dairy free brittle.
  24. Holy Smores!!! (<---- That's so appropriate in more ways than one ) Your peeps talk and predict the weather??? OK, ummm, I've never seen that variety at the store . . . only the little chicks and bunnies at Easter, and snowmen and trees at Christmas, and some ghosta or summat at Halloween. Yeah, so maybe your peeps don't taste so good . . .
  25. What??? You HATE peeps??? You must not have tried all the different varieties and different coloUrs, otherwise you would know . . . OK, yeah, they DO all taste the same . . . but how cute are they??? Doesn't that count for something??
