  2. Did I ever tell you guys that in my "letter of application" (I use that term loosely) for my preschool position, I informed the director that I don't gag at the smell (or sound)of vomit? I'm pretty sure that's why I got the job.
  3. Puking story . . . Twas Thanksgiving of 2002. We drove to Florida to spend it with my MIL. We brought a Norwalk virus with us. At one point, I was trying to catch my son's (age 3) vomit in my hands/arms to keep him from ruining my MIL's sofa (ummmm . . . I succeded). He was miserable and slept with me. Everyone staying in the house caught it along...

Everyone of my dogs have gotten into stuff they shouldn't have which have resulted in Emergency trips to the vet, calls to the vet, and calls to Poison Control (they were very helpful there). Chocolate has been involved as well as ant...

  11. McPhena, this may seem to be an odd suggestion, but experiment with the temperature of the water you are drinking. When I was trying to increase my water intake, I was keeping a pitcher of water in the fridge. I thought that would be more "refreshing" but I was having a hard time drinking it. When I kept the water on the counter (room temp), I did much...

  14. They have a loverly hole in the ground . . . which is currently filling with (rain) water We've had so much rain since they moved here that progress has been pretty slow. They've got an estimate of 7 months for completion. My FIL say he's expecting 9 months just like every other time he's ever built a house. However, this time there's not a whole lot...

  16. Well "Awake" Tea sounds like it's probably fully caffienated. Some people have problems with caffiene for a while. You might try decaffienated. Are you eating something with it when you are drinking it? That might help, too.

  18. Jason, You need more help than we can provide. Everybody needs to vent about the rough times now and then . . . especially at the beginning. However, you have been here for about two years and your threads all have the same negative theme to them. I can't recall any other (active) member that's been here as long as you that hasn't been able to help...

  20. My daughter (Celiac) prefers Bell & Evans gluten free but these are not a processed (ground up) chicken . . . more like breaded chunks of chicken. My son (nonCeliac) prefers the Applegate Farms gluten free chicken nuggets. These have that battered ground up chicken taste and texture (more like the Tysons if I remember correctly). Neither of my kids...
