ARCHIVED Mushroom (Neroli) Memorial Thread
celiac-mommy replied to Scott Adams's topic in Introduce Yourself / Share Stuff
Words cannot express my sadness. A great woman who will be dearly missed. She has been such a great support to me over the past 7 years. I cannot imagine a world without her in it God bless Clayton and the rest of her family and friends. Peace and love to you all. Rest well Neroli, and know we love you -
It's totally true!! Now I thought I was having a bad day until I got a voicemail from my girlfriend asking how to get raw eggs out of the carpet... I asked what happened. She went to change her clothes and brush her teeth to take her 3 and 4 year olds to gymnastics. In that 5 minutes, they got a dozen eggs out of the kitchen fridge AND a dozen out...

I think I'll take my chances In 10 years Max, God willing, will graduate from high school and then other than an occasional birthday party, wedding, etc. here and there, there will be NO reason to have to speak with or deal with Jesse. THAT, my friends, will be a big part of that happily ever after!!

Seriously?? After a vacation? I've been here for almost 13 years and my supervisor is trying to figure out a way to make it work. As far as the tutoring goes, if they end up making me do 12's, then I will try to work something out with my sister at least one day a week to work with him. He'd have to go to after school care on the days that I work and...

Here's the dilemma: Current schedule is 5 days a week, 630a-230p. I'm home every day after school even when I don't have them overnight. I never go more than 2 days without seeing them and I'm there to work with Max on his reading and other homework-which his dad does not do. They want me to move back to working 3 12's. I have the kids every Monday...

Happy New Year!! Vacationed for 9 days!!! Then came back to find out that my lab hired a new tech, and suddenly I'm expected to change my schedule now. Um... Seriously??? I'm praying so hard that my supervisor figures out a way to keep me in this current schedule. As it is, the longest I go without seeing my kids is 2 days. This would mean I'd not...

The What's For Dinner Tonight Chat
celiac-mommy replied to jess-gf's topic in Gluten-Free Recipes & Cooking Tips
I do that too. It's pretty good, but really doesn't taste like potatoes to me. I can't fake myself into that one. I think I'll make lasagna casserole tonight. 1 bowl, 5 min prep, done. Not in the mood to cook tonight -

ARCHIVED Cinnamon Rolls
celiac-mommy replied to Mgyoung77's topic in Gluten-Free Recipes & Cooking Tips
Yes, you just might need to reheat it for easier spreading. Or put a dollop of it cold on the rolls and pop them back into the oven for a min. I'm making my cinnamon roll topped apple pie again!! Can't wait!!! -

I agree. He is also a perfectionist. Math comes easy, reading does not. I don't constrict him to the table for homework. As long as he's working somewhere quiet, I let him get comfortable. You should see him when he's reading at home-he's literally rolling all over the place. I also let him read silently by himself for 15 min before he reads the same...
