  1. I know, tis ridiculous to leave me jamless yet I'm left with 12oz of sunscreen that I don't need here in Oregon! It was Lilikoi butter, which is the most amazing passionfruit jam I have ever tasted in my life. Eat it straight outta the jar! Cool! I'm gonna check it out! Have a good trip!
  2. Thanks . We're all fine. The vaca was actually pretty good if you edit out the drama. My goal was to sit on a different beach every day and that's exactly what I did! I am in love with Kailua and I want to move there yesterday! Sleepy little town, beautiful beach, perfect weather... Life seems so much simpler there. So relaxed. Maybe a bit too relaxed...
  3. I am emerging from the tsunami drowned, gaping head wound, bloody staples, projectile vomiting a'la exorcist, pinning down a 5yo boy to keep him calm and gash free, 19 hours of OT in 24 hours world! It is my first day back to work in 2 weeks (besides the call day from Hell...)!! I have read the last 10 pages, too much to individually comment on, but...
  4. Loooooooong night. Waiting for an all clear, but bc of the aftershocks, it might not happen until tomorrow morning. I'm not sure what I should be doing-stay in the house or walk into town. Obviously I won't be going to the beach, but I'd like to get out and around. I'm playing bingo with a 4yo right now Praying for all those affected. This is really bad
  5. scratch minestrone soup and buttermilk biscuits (best I've made yet!!)
  6. WIH?! So I'm trying on my swimsuits yesterday trying to decide which ones to bring and I happened to turn around to see how the back looked...mistake, I know...but it appears that sometime recently I sat in cottage cheese and it STUCK to my arse and backs of me thighs! Then I spent another hour looking for sarongs and cute skirts to hide the mess. This...
  7. Soooo sorry lady! My prayer are headin' yer way! Keep us posted!!! Madeleine got Lacrosse info yesterday. She put it on the kitchen table... I'm afraid to ask her if she wants to play I hafta say, though, as docile as I was in high school (yeah, hard to believe ), field hockey was my game! I beat the CRAP out of guys bigger than me. It...
  8. Its not leting me PM you so my email is mcfeelyjean@gmail.com

  9. Portland. Do you have Celiac? She was diagnosed when she was 4. She doesn't have any friends who have celiac disease, it'd be nice for her to hang out with someone else she can relate more to. If you'd ever like to meet for cocoa sometime and your parents are ok with getting together, PM me and we can figure something out
  10. I have a 9 year old girl going on 20... Where in Oregon do you live?
  11. Unless they've recently changed their formula, the only Quaker rice cakes that are guaranteed gluten-free are the large ones. They say gluten-free right above the nutritional info
  12. I have the EA Active 2, it's pretty good. The best workout BY FAR, though, is Just Dance 2. I can keep my heart rate over 170 for an hour. I sweat more than running on the treadmill. And it's super fun!!
  13. An 8oz box. It was the Hodgson Mills gluten-free penne.
  14. When do you get the test results? Did you put the hamster bones back together like a museum dinosaur?
  15. 5 minute lasagna preheat oven to 350 in a big bowl mix together: 2 beaten eggs 15 oz container of ricotta 1/2 c grated parmesan cheese 2 tbs italian seasoning 1 jar pasta sauce 1/2 jar of water 1 box of penne pasta (dry) pour into baking dish top with mozzerella bake 350 for about 45min
  16. I don't think he could if he tried. Jesse dug the hole so deep that I could barely reach to the bottom. We let him shovel the dirt back into the hole. He was satisfied with that
  17. We just had the burial. Poor Maddie. My heart is breaking for her. Max on the other hand was eying the box, then the hole, then me... "can I do it?" he asks... Um no, since he wanted to throw the box, with "FIRE IN THE HOLE" to follow. Now he's singing a cartoonish song about a dead bunny. Jesse just pulled him aside to talk to him about sensitivity....
  18. Max is my saving grace. He keeps looking at me like he's expecting me to explode at any second (I waited for the massive waterworks until they were at school), but I asked him if he was sad this afternoon and he said, "Not anymore... Can we get a dog tomorrow?!"
  19. Got on here to find some giggles. I found some, but they quickly turned to sobs. I swear, if I hear 1 more person say, "At least it wasn't a cat or a dog, that would have been worse..." I shall SCREAM!!! I passed a mirror an hour ago and it looks like I've been in a major fight. I guess I have though. I'm going back and forth between fighting with God...

    ARCHIVED Azteca

We are thinking about trying Azteca for an early dinner tomorrow. I contacted the company and received a great email with a list of their gluten-free items, he told me to attach his name to the printout and hand to the manager when we arrive and that they are currently working with GIG to standardize a gluten-free menu. AnyWho, anyone tried Azteca? Successes...
