  1. to me it sounds very much celiac! Usually after the Gluten-challenge and a positive or inclusive Biopsy it's automativcally diangose Celiac! Some here have said that Insurances often can and or will refuse you or give you a pretty high quote if they know you got a Celiac in the family. So, I'm not so sure if it is betteror worse to actually have it in writing...

  3. My daughter is sick right now, just a very mild Earinfection- still her fever spikes over 105. Naturally I treated her with Motrin, little did I know that only the newer packages are glutenfree- gluten and caseinfree to be exact! I was already wondering why she had the runs and extremely bad and stinky gas, even though she was glutenfree and dind't get better...
  4. Well, I'm so sorry! There is a good chance that the Celiac is actually the Culprit that caused her Diabetes in the first place! Sadly enough, while damage in the small intenstine due to celiac is fully reversible just with the glutenfree diet, the Diabetes is not!   15. Well, my kids Bloodtest for the Celaic Genes came back today, my daughter is pos. for DQ2 and DQ8 my son only for the DQ2. There was no bloodtest for the antibodys done so I'm planning on getting a stooltest from enterolab, which one should I take- the genes are obviously there! As for Fingerfood/snacks you can get those Gerber Graduates mini-fruits! they are tiny pieces of real fruit or corn, they are just freeze dried, nothing added. they have Apple, Apple-strawberry and corn, those are the ones I've seen. Thoses things melt in the mouth/soften realy fast. they are awesome and purely Gluten or something else free, just freezedried...
