    I had read that too in a book... I belive it was in Celiacs for dummies. Even some of the baby rice cereal has gluten in it... but cream of rice does not it says gluten free on the box. congrats & best wishes.

    I had to give it to my daughter for pooping reasons, reasons like yours. We had used it for about 3mths off and on ... eventually her body worked it all out. My ped said it was naormal for toddlers to go through a period like this. I tried to cut dairy out of her diet... did not work for us... made no diff. The Miralax was wonderful and would use it again...

    Thanks, Under my docs new advice I am giving him mainly formula right now and nursing only some. He said it should be ok... my son seems to be happy with that arrangement. I am trusting the doc is right?. This whole nursing thing on what is safe and whats not is hard and never usually a clear cut answer... esp since I have been adjusting to a gluten-free...

    I would not take it and try something different. The more you take something you are allergic to sometimes the worse it gets. I learned that the hard way with my DD... after still taking her they me told me to give her the med anyways... well her next reaction sent us to the ER. But I still would want to see the doc b/c new alleregies can happen at any time...

    I agree that you should not go behind DH back and get you and your 6y tested. BUT you both need to be tested. So maybe, since you are already gluten-free and have + response why don't you have the test done first and when it comes back + , every doctor then says to have your children tested too. Then have her tested. As soon as we found out ... my DH sent...

    I happen to watch to the show and was so excited to here them talk about Gluten! I am hopeing that this leads to a oprah show about celiacs!

    You will find great support here! Is she not allowed to have wheat , eggs,etc b/c she's too young or b/c it is allergey? I know for my daughter , she's 2 1/2 had the blood test done and it was important for her to be on wheat until the test.

    was glutened over the weeked and then had some sort of allergic reaction and DH rash... doc gave me a cortisone shot yesterday to help with itching and other things.     I think I found the answer to my question. Open Original Shared Link I am going to go ahead and nurse him tonight and check with La Leche in the morning. My doctor never seems toknow what is safe and whats not... I know he thinks its great that i nurse.

    Today I went to see my doctor b/c I had gluten reaction from CC or maybe the saled dressing I had at bob evans... still not sure, they said the dressing was safe. anyway, I was also having some sort of allergic reaction too. ALong with a DH rash. So my doc gave me a cordizone (sp?) shot to help with the reaction and sending me to get food allergey test done...

    I would think by now you should be able to call them, they should have called by now. When I had my biop done they only took two and they cam back inconclusive. They never did the blood wrk?. But I had my results within 3wks or so. I hope you get some answers soon. sry I am not much help about the false neg stuff... I am still trying to figure that all out...
